NEW WEird DIFFerenT Limited and Special Edition Foods Out There February 2025

There is always something new, weird, different, limited, and special edition in the wonderful world of food. We just never know WTFork we will come across when we shop for food.

Up above is –

NEW – General Mills Cinnamon Toast Crunch Waffles Cereal. Waffle you waiting for…Go try them.

DIFFERENT and maybe NEW – General Mills – Birthday Cake Loaded with vanilla filling cereal. Don’t mean to be the health police but that doesn’t sound like breakfast to me.

DIFFERENT – General Mills Lucky Charms Berry Swirl with Berry Marshmallows and OTHER natural flavors – Oh Boy!

NEW – General Mills Lucky Charms S’Mores – Doesn’t sound healthy so who cares?

DIFFERENT – Cap’n Crunch’s Cinnamon Crunch……Naturally Flavored so go ahead and enjoy!

DIFFERENT Ghost Cereal in PB flavor…….Something to die for?

DIFFERENT (but not so different) Ghost Cereal with Marsh Mallows that is naturally and artificially flavored

DIFFERENT – Dolly Chardonnay – Something to wine about.

DIFferenT – Sable & Rosenfield Tipsy Cherries in whiskey and bourbon – hic HIC!

WEIRD but funny – Tillen Farms Bada Bing cherries

WEIRD – Sellor Farms Buffalo Wing Pistachios …IDK why would anyone want pistachios that don’t taste like pistachios?

DIFFERENT – Goya Ketchup – Another brand of ketchup.

DIFFERENT – Goya Pacaya a shoot from a palm tree……Haven’t tried as of yet.

DIFFERENT – Kikkoman Sriracha & Coconut Japanese Panko – sounds tasty!

DIFFERENT – Rap Snacks – This one is salt, vinegar, bbq, onion, garlic and more!

DIFFERENT – Rap Snacks – O.G. BBQ Cheddar, Snoop Dog …….?????

DIFFERENT – Rap Snacks – BBQing with my Honey Truffle Nicky Minaj…….????

NEW – Progresso Chicken Noodle Soup Drops. It looks like they come in a can? How inconvenient…..

And there is usually something Oreo.

This month you got TWO new Oreo Cookies. One is from Subway that was suppose to come out in January…….

I think it’s from Jelly Roll? Or is it Teddy Swims??????

Wrong Dude It’s Post Malone.

I think they have Butterscotch and Caramel Cream middles…..Why didn’t they do Jelly Roll Cookies…Maybe they will?

There is always something new, weird, different, limited and special edition in the wonderful world of food. We just never know WTFork we will come across when we shop for food. This month was just potatoes I came across many new and most certainly DIFFERENT flavors of Pringles Chips so we will start with that.

Up above is –

DIFFERENT – Pringles in Elote Flavor. Could be good…Could be just corny?

DIFFERENT – Pringles Hot Ones Verde. Might be very hot?

DIFFERENT – Pringles Carnitas Taco – It’s vegetarian and kosher lol

DIFFERENT – Pringles Hot Honey

DIFFERENT – Pringles Honey Mustard

DIFFERENT – Pringles – Philly Cheesteak

DIFFERENT – Pringles – Everything Bagel

and REALLY DIFFERENT

NEW – Pringles Mingles BBQ & Pizza – They sound good but taste weird

DIFFERENT – Sonic Potato Tots

DIFFERENT Sonic Fries

DIFFERENT – Red Robin Seasoned Steak Fries

DIFFERENT – Ocean’s Thai Green Curry Pink Salmon

LIMITED EDITION – 7Up Shirley Temple Pomegranate and Cherry Soda. I thought a Shirley Temple Drink was Grenadine and Ginger Ale?

DIFFERENT and LEFTOVER – Twix and Snickers in Ghoulish Green …sounds gross

LIMITED EDITION – General Mills Apple Pie Toast Crunch Cereal

And there is usually something Oreo.

LIMITED EDITION – Game day Oreo. Same old cookie with 5 different football designs Oh Boy!

FORKING Thoughts on Holiday M&M’s – Toasty Holiday Peanut & Holiday Mint

I found two different Holiday Edition M&M’s at my local Target so I had to give them a try. I found Toasty Holiday Peanut with artificial flavor and Holiday Mint. The Toasty Holiday Peanut does have peanuts inside that seem larger than regular peanut M&M’s. The peanuts inside have little flavor and seem softer…..But the WEIRD thing is as soon as I put one in my mouth they also almost taste like GROSS ARTIFICIAL COFFEE……..and they leave a weird almost GROSS COFFEE aftertaste……I won’t be getting fat eating Toasty Holiday Peanut M&M’s.

The mint ones aren’t bad. They taste just like an Oreo Type Cookie that is laced with some mint.

I used to love M&M’s Candies. I grew up enjoying the original and peanut varieties and latter I enjoyed the almond variety. Over the decades these candies changed things up and also introduced new flavors. Some I liked and some I didn’t care for……It’s been a very long time since I found a new flavor so I gave these Pumpkin Pie M&M’s a try.

WOW! It says on the front of bag ARTIFICIAL FLAVOR ………how good can that be?……..

Anyways

The M&M’s are different colors (Orange, Brown, White) and different sizes? Regular and mega?

I taste some…….I taste some more……

These are just too fake tasting to identify.

They sure DON’T TASTE ANYTHING LIKE PUMPKIN PIE

But even worse……

They don’t taste like chocolate either….

They are kinda sweet but not too sweet like some of them….

They just don’t taste like anything familiar.

My FORKING Thoughts on Manischewitz Dark Chocolate Peppermint Patties – It’s a SURPRISE

I came across these Manischewitz Dark Chocolate Peppermint Patties on a clearance table at my local Smith’s Grocery Store……I don’t recall ever coming across Manischewitz Peppermint Patties before?….Well They only had one bag of them and I do love peppermint patties so I thought I’d give them a try.

I open up the bag.

I’m disappointed because the chocolates are all busted up and stick together.

Then I do take a whiff into the bag…It does smell like peppermint and chocolate.

I try one even though they are damaged.

UMMMM…….The chocolate is thick and good but not real deep like dark chocolate….It’s more like very good milk chocolate with a nice mouth feel…..The peppermint is Really Strong but good……This is like an upgraded Jr Mint…….It’s like Jr Mints but better quality with better stronger mint and better thicker chocolate….

It’s so good that one is satisfying.

I’ll be sad when they are gone.

My FORKING Thoughts on Dunkin’ Chocolates Jelly Donut Candy – Just SWEET – Maybe POWDERED Doughnuts

I noticed lately that there is a new trend of things that are not doughnuts that are “Doughnut Flavored.” I didn’t know until I purchased this candy that there are other Dunkin’ Chocolate Candies out there. I saw this one and I decided to give it a try even after reading the ingredients.

It’s made in Poland….

I open it up.

Darn! The one side is damaged and doesn’t come out so I take the other one.

My one dog thinks it smells good. The other dog is uninterested in it. I don’t give them any because this might be harmful to dogs.

I bite into it……It’s so sweet that it is almost hard to taste. I do taste raspberry and what seems like extra sweet white chocolate….I do not really get doughnut here………But I can imagine LOTS OF POWDERED SUGAR……..Maybe this can pass as POWDERED Jelly Doughnut?………I am undecided if I will eat the second one tomorrow……latter I threw the rest out.

WTFork happened to Milk Chocolate M&M’s? They’re Smaller

I haven’t bought a bag of plain M&M’s in a long time until today…..I tried a few and instantly I noticed a difference………They don’t feel or taste the same in my mouth……..I know they are smaller…….I noticed less chocolate when I suck the shells off. Also the ratio is different………Less chocolate makes them seem more sweet and less chocolatey. Then I let my husband try some. He said, “are these the tiny ones?”…..WTFork! Then I went to the internet and found this from wwwFasioncoached.com.

I also found this.

In May 2014 I noticed a few changes in Peanut M&M’s and so far 16 wrote to me and agreed.

I happened to pick of some peanut M&M’s recently. Let’s see if they are similar to the 2014 ones. (the photo below)

My FORKING Thoughts on Reese’s Creamy Cups

My local stores Walmart and Safeway grocery have exploded with all these New and Different Reese’s products. I’m a fan of original Reese’s so I thought I’d give them a try.

Honestly it’s kinda hard to tell how they are. They are similar to the regular original Reese’s Cup but sort of melted. The chocolate and peanut butter are both much softer. Maybe slightly less flavorful….They are harder to enjoy because they are too soft. Maybe they’d be good with ice cream? I prefer the original to this creamy version. I would not buy them again.

My FORKING Thoughts on Milk Chocolate Honey Graham M&M’s

I came across Milk Chocolate Honey Graham M&M’s at my local Fry’s Supermarket today so I thought I’d give them a try.

I glance at the ingredients and nothing seems too terrible.

Next I take a big sniff from the open bag…..It smells like chocolate. I’m thinking….maybe they might be good?….

Then I spill some out.

The M&M’s are extra small and all of them are deformed in shape. They almost look like current sized but wrinkly like raisins.

If they are good there is no way in the world that this is a serving.

Anyways I give them a try.

They are sweet. Maybe too sweet for some adults. The sweet is something like a honey taste. You also get a savory taste………it’s closer to cereal mixed with malt than a graham taste that is also mixed with a little bit of chocolaty taste.

If you let them melt in your mouth you get different flavors. The candy shell is the normal sweet candy shell that you expect……Then you do get a honey sort of taste that mixes and dilutes the chocolate taste. Then you are left with small cereal nuggets….

They are better if you just eat them.

It’s too hard ti eat just one serving.

For me they don’t really taste like honey graham but I do like the light texture and flavors that they have. I think that these Honey Graham M&M’s would be best as a Sundae topping.

My FORKING Thoughts on M&M’s White Chocolate Pretzel Snowballs

When I see a new M&M’s I usually just have to give them a try. I found these White Chocolate M&M’s Snowballs at my local Safeway….I wasn’t sure if I was going to try them because one of the last white chocolate M&M’s that I tried I didn’t care for but I picked them up because very few new flavors of M&M’s came out this year.

I open the bag up.

The M&M’s are in slightly irregular shapes. They are in colors of bright blue, Robbins egg blue and white……

When I take a closer look I see some are marked “N” instead of “M”…?

These are really different. They have a perfect salty to sweet ratio. I taste the pretzel slightly more than the chocolate or candy. Actually they are pretty good with a really nice textures. The pretzel in them is very light but crunchy with pieces of salt on them. The white chocolate is not too sweet and it’s melty and not waxy. The shell gives it some sweetness and a nice crunch. They seem so light that they are easy to eat….Maybe too easy to eat? ……….These are too easy to keep eating.

My FORKING Thoughts are that the White Chocolate Pretzel Snowball M&M’s are pretty good!
