I came across these Limited Edition Lemon Tzatziki Potato Chips at my local Sprouts Grocery. I thought they were among one of the strangest flavors for potato chips that I have seen. It took me a few weeks to muster the courage to try them.
I open the bag.
The bag isn’t very full.
I take a whiff.
It’s strange.
It’s kinda citrus-ee and also funky in a weird way.
I look at the ingredients.
Seems ok for processed food. Don’t understand yeast extract.
For me it’s very difficult to let one chip dissolve slowly in my mouth because it burns and is also bitter and also very unappetizing to me. I do get a sort of lemon finish that is mixed with a sort vomit taste.
I do note that I am slightly more sensitive than other people to citric acid and also vinegar.
These are FORKING GROSS to me. It’s like bitter sour burning vomit mixed with sour lemon.
I have no idea on why anyone would produce something so vile.
Those were my FORKING Thoughts on Sprouts Lemon Tzatziki Potato Chips.
Flecha Cantina by Mark Wahlberg is a creative style Mexican Restaurant and Bar located in the Towns Square shopping center in Las Vegas that is not too far from the Las Vegas Strip. This restaurant is bought to you by local celebrity and resident Mark Wahlberg. (at this time) this restaurant offers lunch, brunch, and dinner. This restaurant has an outdoor patio, bar seating, booth, and traditional tables.
On every visit (so far on 5 visits) they served us complimentary fruit cocktails on the way to the table.
On all our visits we received delicious spicy salsa and chips to start on.
The pistachio goat cheese appetizer used to be so delicious that we ordered it on 4 out of 5 visits so far.
It was described as goat cheese with pistachios and spicy tamarind sauce with fried pita breads.
This is the July 2026 version below.
You can certainly see that it is no longer the same. You can see it’s a less layered sauce that is more flat and you can also see that they cut way back on the pistachios. I can’t say for sure but I think? it tastes closer to cream cheese too than to goat cheese?
The dishes we tried today were the new $20 lunch special menu.
I tried the Verano Watermelon Salad – watermelon, cucumber, goat cheese, baby spinach, arugula, cloud 23 honey mustard dressing, basil, mint, candied pistachios, option to add chicken
I don’t tastes basil or mint. The candied pistachios are impossible to identify. If they are there they are crushed so fine that you don’t really get them. The dust on the salad tastes spiced and possibly includes a candied crushed pistachio? The watermelon, cheese, and chicken are all ok. The dressing is tasty on the salad.
My husband tried the Street Tacos (pork belly, carnitas, chicken)
He said that the tacos were tasty but they were lighter with the meat in the pork flavors than the chicken taco.
The lunch specials included a soft beverage and a dessert. We both tried the ice cream with churros and took 1/2 the churros packed for home because two orders are too much to eat for most people.
The ice cream and sauces are good.
The churros are all different.
Some seem raw inside.
Some seem filled
But they all lack cinnamon and sugar on the exterior.
Below are some pictures from previous visits to Flecha Cantina.
The FORKING Truth is that EVERYTHING is subject to change.
La Casa De Juliette is a full service Mexican Restaurant and Bar located in the Centennial Hills or North/West part of Vegas. It’s a little dark inside but well lite so you can read the menu.
They currently are offering lunch and a $21. special 2-course lunch.
I tried the fish tacos. They were HUMUNGOUS but more importantly REALLY DELICIOUS! Maybe the best I’ve tried in Vegas so far.
Plump moist mild whitefish with a creamy chipotle slaw and really great tasting pineapple salsa that they call “Pina Pico de Gallo.”
My husband tried the lunch special.
He started with the wings 1/2 mild 1/2 spicy
Unfortunately today someone over cooked the wings or they would have been good.
Then he had the brisket enchiladas.
The flavors are good but the brisket is over cooked today.
Previously we tried La Casa de Juliette for dinner and tried –

A Taste of the Neighborhood Block Party took place in the Resort of Summerlin in the Neighborhood Food Hall (Saturday August 1 -1-4pm). This event benefited Project 150. The tickets were $25. or $30. each the day of event and here is what there was to try!
A slice of pizza from ai Pazzi Pizza.
Shrimp Cocktail from (Fabio Viviani’s) Pearls Oyster Bar
Edamame and Shrimp & Pork Dumplings from Nom Wah
Last was Tacos 1986 combined with For The Win Smash Burgers
To the left – chicken tacos – middle – pork tacos – left – smash cheeseburgers
And they were also serving fresh popped buttered pop corn and cotton candy
That was a taste of The Neighborhood Black Party Summer Fest at The Resorts at Summerlin
Not only is my local Smith’s Grocery Store Filthy all the time, always has dead herbs, and usually has the wrong signs on some f the food. Just this week they had a broccoli crowns sign on peppers.
A smoked ham sign on King Hawaiian Rolls.
Dead herbs for sale.
Filthy refrigerators
Floors that need sweeping
Filthy self check out areas
Maybe the best of the week was Moo Woo Korean BBQ
We got way more than we could eat.
Most of the food was better than from my first visit but the downside was that my favorite dish (the Bulgogi Steak was not as good. Don’t know if we accidentally over cooked it or just a different cut that’s not as good?)
Maybe the worst of the week was the Szechwan Beef from Ellie’s Kitchen.
It wasn’t terrible but didn’t taste like Szechwan Beef. It taste like beef in beef gravy with a splash of soy sauce. NO HOT PEPPER for us. This place says that they serve authentic style Chinese Foods. Well not to everyone.

There is always something new, weird, different, limited, or special edition food these days. We never know what-the-FORK we will come across when we shop for food.
DIFFERENT – Milk Bone – Dunkin vanilla glaze flavor biscuits
And there is usually something Oreo.
LIMITED EDITION – Oreo ARTIFICIALLY FLAVORED Blue Raspberry, Lemon, Cherry Creme Fire Cracker Pop Oreo Sandwich Cookies – Some people will get a bang out of that. Others will just fart a rainbow.
That was the new, weird, different, limited and special edition foods out there for July. Who knows WTFork we’ll come across next month.
Burrito Tyme isn’t a fancy place. It’s a small casual Mexican restaurant connected to a gas station in North Las Vegas Nevada. They offer things like breakfast, tacos, tostadas, combo plates, fajitas, cheeseburgers and bottled soft beverages. You can do take out or do some dining in.
It’s very casual. You order and pay at the counter. You pick it up when it’s ready and you can dress the food as you like with their salsa bar.
A chile relleno (fried battered poblano pepper stuffed with cheese) is tasty and you might want to give it a try.
Or maybe you want something like a taco salad.
Something more hardy is something like a green chile pork plate. (it comes with tortillas)
What’s Zaap? Thai Food is located in Las Vegas Nevada sort of between Red Rock Casino and the Durango. If they seem familiar to you then maybe you saw them on Food Network on Diners Drive Ins and Dives.
They also won multiple awards. Some more are on a another wall.
They have these super special Chef Sauces and seasons that you should use to embellish your foods. (Special Chef Sauce Left side one from the end)
The crispy spring rolls are so unusually good we had to get them again. (Use just a drop or two of chefs special sauce with a small amount of sauce it comes with)
Las time I got the most amazing green curry salmon that I ever got in any Thai Restaurant.
LOOK how amazing the cook on it was.
You won’t get this at many restaurants PERIOD in Vegas. Oh and the flavors were just wonderful too.
Last time my husband got the dish that is often called Spicy Basil and also Pad Gra Pao.
This by FAR is the best Spicy Basil that we’ve tasted in Vegas. It’s well infused with HOLY BASIL (in case you don’t know that is the basil that you are suppose to use for this dish. Most places just use either regular or Thai Basil) Also the protein is hand chopped creating more surface area that that means more flavor. Many places just slice the protein.
This time I tried the basil eggplant with chicken.
It’s made with sweet white flesh eggplant and the chicken is tender and moist.
My husband tried the spicy basil with crispy pork belly.
It’s a slight up charge if you select Holy Basil for this dish. He loved this dish and it’s one of his favorites.
Most exciting meal out of the week was the Chef Fabio Viviani Italian Three Chickens Demo and Tastings at his restaurant ai Pazzi. The Chef was funny and entertaining and the tastings were more than most people can eat.
Also enjoyed some AMAZING Thai Dishes at 328 Thai. I have to say that the Shiso Leaves are amazing and so was the Sea Bass.
