WTFork Happened to Yogurt?…….. Yogurt Used to be a HEALTHY Food

WTFork happened to yogurt? …….Yogurt used to a be a healthy food. Hippies would eat it with Grapenuts or fresh fruit. They also used to show TV documentaries and TV commercials with 100 year old+ Russian People all eating yogurt and it was suggested that yogurt was a contributing factor that was associated with longevity or old farts living way past 100 forking years old doing forking hard farm work and liking it all eating yogurt.

Yogurt is produced by the bacterial fermentation of milk.

People have been eating yogurt for at least 5,500 years.

Eating yogurt can help you absorb nutrients from other foods better.

I doubt you get the same healthy benefits when your yogurt is mixed with forking candy. I also doubt that candy taste good in yogurt. I forking like candy but would never eat candy in forking yogurt. For me they sure don’t forking pair well.

The Chobani Yogurts pictured up top featured yogurts with bowls of chocolates on top of them that were Hershey’s Pips & Whoppers Malt balls.

If I was a forking kid and got that in my forking lunch I’d toss the yogurt out into a forking sewer and just keep the forking chocolates.

But Chobani isn’t the only one that offers you forking candy with your yogurt.

My Forking Review on the Mincy by Rigamonti……… forget about the Pastabilities

I found this forking cute gadget at Home Goods. It claims to have many uses. It’s suppose to grind meat, make sausage and pasta too. Beside being cute, machine washable, less than $20, and easy to put together it has a cool suction device that doesn’t actually suck as it  secures the almost non-working machine to any surface.

I didn’t forking even try to grind meat because it really sucked SO FORKING MUCH at just making pasta. First I tried some  spelt pasta and it took me about 50 cranks to put out this much pasta. I sure was forking cranky after this but thought a more traditional 50% semolina 50% flour mixture might do the trick to making some forking pasta.

So I gave forking rigatoni’s a try.

Same forking thing. About 50 FORKING CRANKS for FORKING 3 pieces of forking pasta.

I forking went back to Home Goods and returned this idiotic device because this forking gadget has ZERO Pastabilities in my forking kitchen.

The FORKING TRUTH that VITAMINS are Imports from China

Most  vitamins are forking imports from China.

90% of vitamin C comes from China according to the Seattle Times.

50% of aspirin, 35% Tylenol and the majority of vitamins A, B-12, and E also come from China according to democratic underground.com.

Many pet foods contain vitamin C according to Epoch Times and I directly found out from the IAMS Co that some of their vitamins and minerals might come from China. They also told me that the pet food industry is very competitive and they don’t reveal their sources. I also got a similar message from Purina.

This news is forking alarming to people who read the news or watch news TV because Chinese Food Safety Scandals make the headlines forking often.

According to the Epoch Times only a FORKING 2% of imported vitamins are inspected.

Many foods we consume are made with added vitamins.

Also alarming is that the areas in China where the vitamins are produced happen to be the most polluted areas in China and also the world.

Red Bell Peppers even OLD are Forking Versatile and Delicious

Red Bell Peppers even OLD ones are versatile.  I always forking stock up on red bell peppers when they are for sale at a great price.

I cut some up, cook them up and freeze them and a roast up a bunch and freeze roasted red bell peppers. I find that when the pepper is old and wrinkled they roast up more even with the easiest to peel off skins and the pepper gets a better roast. It’s sort of the same reasoning on why the best fried chicken is the kind that sits uncovered in the refrigerator for maybe three days and the skin dries out.

After the peppers are roasted (actually broiled all around) The skins come right off and I use the roasted red peppers in a variety of ways.

Investigations are Pending for Beneful Dog Food

A lawsuit has been filed against the Purina Company with allegations that Beneful has possibly caused thousands of dogs to become ill or die. (according to PetfoodRecall.org)

Propylene glycol is the ingredient alleged to cause the illness. Propylene glcol is a preservative that is used in foods for human and pet consumption.

Investigations are pending.

According to PetFoodRecall.org They note 11 recalls by Purina.

Another Forking Way to Prepare Eggs…..in a Wonton Wrapper

You can Fry them or boil them like raviolis.

Just get your handy dandy wrappers made for wontons or dumplings.

Get a little dish and place one wrapper in there and top it with an egg yolk.

Roll the yolk around the wrapper to wet it and place another wrapper on top and seal. Now either boil them or fry them either way they come out forking good!

Forking Pickled Kale Stems

I didn’t forking know that people pickle kale stems until I watched Celebrity Chef Richard Blais at the Chipotle Cultivate Festival in Scottsdale AZ. He mentioned that Chefs do things like pickle kale stems.

Richard Blais specializes in innovative American Cuisine. He made a forking oyster po boy sandwich with not real oysters but used chicken oysters and he also made boudin sausage but not with regular casing he used a forking squid and stuffed that. So while he was forking chatting about Star Wars he gave a helpful hint and suggested to use the stems from kale and make pickles out of them so I thought I’d give it a try. I got this forking wild idea that ginger lemon mint pickles would taste good. Honestly it did taste good on the carrot sticks. But that’s about it so I’m not pushing pickling kale stems. I did boil them a couple minutes as Chef Blais suggested before pickling but I don’t think they are worth it because the kale stems came out just like celery. After boiling the stems they still had that stringy thing like celery. You can peal celery but you can’t peal a kale stem so I forking prefer celery to kale stems. I only liked the way the carrots came out. I sure Chef Blais did kale stems FORKING better or just had forking better kale stems.

Cupcakes Forking Suck to Me Now

Over the past few years I got suckered into trying a few of the Food Network Cupcake War’s Winner’s Cupcakes in various places I’ve been. When I come across one I can’t help it I just want to know what a winning cupcake is like.

Oddly none of them looked or tasted like what I was expecting. Instead of something sweet, natural tasting with a normal cake-like texture, I got almost a forking wet and spongy texture with a artificial like flavor…just like from a forking boxed mix.

I don’t eat cupcakes too often but I did eat quite a few during my childhood. Back then you ate many of them from classmates birthdays and also every neighborhood had a bakery with cupcakes and if you were lucky you got to eat a few. The cupcakes also usually had fun little ornaments on top of them. Like a fun cat head, heart, football, turkey or a little flag. Usually they were always vanilla flavored but always tasted like a moist birthday cake to me. I don’t mind other flavors and I can get by without the cupcake ornament. I just can’t stand that fake texture spongy wet sponge texture that sucks out all the joy in my mouth and pollutes my childhood memory. These days the cupcakes are extra large too with a mountain of frosting. I just wished these cupcakes tasted better. This last one I tasted was unnatural tasting and made my heart sink and also makes me wonder how the fork could I have chewed this mass of yuck up.  I can’t help to wonder how the fork this can this be a winning cupcake?. The icing wasn’t even sweet and just seem like forking whipped fat with a disappointing amount of chocolate in it to me.

That doesn’t mean all the forking cupcakes in the world suck. Just the ones I tried over the past few years.

Your Leftovers Can be Forking Delicious in Wonton Wrappers

I had one forking portion of leftover duchess style sweet potatoes left over in my freezer.

So I thought it might be forking tasty in fried wonton wrappers.

I just put a little dab off the middle.

Wet the edges with a little water.

Then fried them on medium heat in butter.

Added some fresh sage to the butter.

Added fresh ground sea salt and fresh ground black pepper.

Latter I decided to use up some cooked chestnuts I had.

I rolled the chestnuts in brown sugar and cinnamon.

I filled the wontons the same way as the sweet potatoes.

They got sprinkled with powdered sugar and more cinnamon.
