Aroma is a contemporary artsy type of South American style restaurant located in Chinatown in Las Vegas Nevada. It’s not a fancy place but the dishes are ultra creative and fancy. They offer lots of smaller plates and larger plates that can be shared. I do warn you that this is a small restaurant and the tables inside are a bit too small for the large plates. They also (as of this posting so that might change) don’t have a bar so they are only offering beer and wine (at this time).

We started out with the Peruvian Ceviche.

It’s made with yellowtail fish. It’s nice and light and fresh tasting.
BUT one of the MUST GET dishes are the Tamarindo (Japanese Bay Peaches, tamarind balls, apple, jicama, other goodies)

Really great!
Another MUST GET is the Mangonada (NIXTAMEL tomatoes, chili lime, peanuts, greens, grapes, and other goodies)

For out main we had the Churrasquito (Brazilian Fat Cap Steak)

All very good flavors here. The steak was good but today not perfection. I’ve had it a few times before at the original location. Today it is slightly chewy but still good. Usually it’s perfection. There are plenty of tasty embellishments to keep you busy..
Dessert was pretty darn delicious too.

It’s called a Chococo (a rich chocolatey dessert with pineapple rum and coconut and a few other things.
Not perfect but many of the dishes are amazing!
