Joey’s Tavern is a 24/7 Bar, Restaurant, & Gaming type of sports bar in the North/West part of Las Vegas. This place differs slightly from a lot of other similar places. This place others around half a dozen monthly special and a pizza of the month in addition to a mostly American Breakfast lunch and dinner menu.

But it is dark inside.

And the BIG HEAVY Chairs at the tables are very uncomfortable. …..But the food was very good.

I tried a Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich with sweet potato fries.

This might be the juiciest most flavorful chicken sandwich I had in Vegas so far. It is spicy but not so spicy I can’t eat it. It’s delicious but with one major problem. There are small pieces of bone in with the chicken breast that I was lucky to spit out. A minor issue is that this sandwich contains lettuce, tomato, and onion and is missing the pickle that normally is on a Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. Well we are in Vegas and not Nashville so you don’t get pickles here. It’s still a very good sandwich if you don’t choke on a bone. The sweet potato fries are fried nicely and are crisp and not oily.

My husband enjoyed the BBQ Brisket Sandwich with Soup of the day (potato/broccoli).

He said it was delicious and is happy to come here again.

Maybe it’s brighter if you sit in a different area? and maybe more comfortable?

The food was very good so Joey’s Tavern is Worth a Try!
