KJ Dim Sum & Seafood is located in the Rio Casino/Hotel in Las Vegas Nevada. They are a Dim Sum and Cantonese Seafood Restaurant.

I was going to order off the menu. But this is a dim sum restaurant and after a few carts I thought I’d just be happy with dim sum.

Someone offers us something called chicken rice. That sounds good. So we gave it a try.

I don’t know why but I can’t stomach this dish. I can’t even tell you what it tastes like.

Then we get a bunch of other plates from another cart.

For me the best of the bunch was the Asian Broccoli. It was fresh and hot and steamed. To the right is the chicken rice (that’s gross), Below it is crunchy dry vegetable chow mein, to the left are shrimp balls (my husband said that they tastes good but are cold. Bottom dish is vegetable spring rolls that are cold and paste-tee inside.

By now we are very thirsty but nobody offered us a beverage.

My husband get up to try to help ourselves. At this point someone drops by and brings a pot of hot tea.

It’s unfiltered and tea leaves are mixed into the tea.

My husband asks for water. Someone does come by and drop off two glasses of water.

The water they gave to my husband has BLACK THINGS FLOATING in it.

He got up and showed someone the water and asked for another glass of water. He was eventually served a new water.

Some of the people pushing carts ignored us like I think the person pushing a soup cart.

There also isn’t much to eat here if you don’t eat shrimp or pork.

I did try the sesame balls because I usually like them.

Usually they come filled with sweet bean paste but I did try them with fruit filling once.

These are different.

The dough is wet inside. I have no idea on what the sweetened filling was.

For me this was a FORK NO.
