Lumberjacks North Las Vegas NV – Worth a Try!

Lumberjacks is a small chain of casual restaurants from California with one location in North Las Vegas Nevada. They serve an American menu that includes breakfast all day. They also offer a soft beverage menu, a child’s, and a senior menu. The menu does run a bit beef heavy but does have enough choices to please most people.

It’s casual and kind of rustic when you walk in.

The desserts are also on display in a glass case off the side of the front desk.

Unfortunately we were seated in what might be the overflow room. It emptied and we had the room to ourselves. I couldn’t get a photo of where you might typically sit that was crowded with people and also was a much larger room.

My husband started with a cup of soup of the day (included with his meal) – chicken tortilla. He said that it really was well made and delicious, also a bit spicy.

I tried the Apple Fuji Chicken Salad.

It was surprisingly very good! The most stand out thing was on how fresh the soft green were. They were so fresh that they were crisp. The chicken was moist and flavorful. The citrus dressing seemed light but also had a nice flavor to it. There were also embellishments of raw onion, walnuts, cranberries, and crisp sweet apple chips.

My husband enjoyed the Chicken Fried Steak.

It was reasonably good.

We took a chance and decided to try the Blackberry Cobbler.

It’s very different.

Nt what either of us were expecting.

It’s more like a muffin with TONS of blackberry filling.

It’s also not very sweet.

It’s not awful but I wouldn’t recommend or order again.

I do note that the soup, salad, and chicken fried steak were all at least reasonably good.
