Sushisamba is a high end Japanese with Brazilian and Peruvian Fusion type of restaurant and bar located in the second floor Palazzo area in the Venetian Hotel/Casino on the Las Vegas Strip.
It’s moderne and fancy-schmanzy inside.

You can order a la carte, happy hour, or off one of the tasting menus.
We tried the Taste of Samba Tasting Menu. At the time of our visit (subject to change) it ran $120. a person and offered a nice variety of the menu. We also did a saki paring.
They started us out with –

Salmon Tiradito – kinkan honey, garlic ponzu, garlic chips – Amazing and different!

edamame – sea salt. lime – tasty

Plantain Chips & Aji Amarillo sauce – Very Tasty

Baby Gem Salads – basil miso, pistachios
Crispy Yellowtail Taquitos – avocado & miso
Japanese A5 Kobe Goyza – Kabcha Puree, sweet soy
All were amazing

Sea Bass Anticucho – miso (I could also taste something citrus and a few more flavors)
Peruvian Corn
Filet Anticucho – Aji Pance
All VERY Good but we both favored the Sea Bass that was exceptional.

Nigiri – salmon, tuna, yellow tail?
Tiger Maki
The Nigiri was exceptional and you can’t compare it to neighborhood (cheap) sushi.
The Tiger Maki contained shellfish so I didn’t try but heard that it was very good.

Mochi – soft Japanese Rice Cakes filled with ice cream
Slightly too much food and good if you enjoy Mochi but I’m not a big fan of any Mochi but I note that that is just me. But everything else I tried was mostly superb.
Oh and they were nice enough to give us a complimentary round of sparkling saki for a birthday!

Brought home some sea bass and some filet for Charlie.

Sushisamba is Worth a Fork!
