Blue Olive Mediterranean & Pizza recently opened in the North/West part of Las Vegas. This isn’t a fancy place. It’s also very casual. You order and pay at the counter and seat yourself.
We tried a variety of things from the menu.
I’m pleased to say that everything was at least good!
We started by sharing an appetizer order of falafels.
They taste very different than what I’m used to.
Less herby and not green inside.
More moist.
I was told that these are more Lebanese Style. They have tahini sauce poured on them and they sit over hummus that is embellished with tomatoes, onions, cabbage, and lettuce.
I got a roasted chicken leg hummus bowl.
They generously gave me TWO delicious juicy nicely seasoned chicken legs that sit over hummus garnished with cabbage, jalapeños, olives, tomatoes and a side of fluffy pita breads.
Now this is Excellent and an amazing value at $16.99 because I got TWO meals out of this.
My husband tried the Greek Hero Pizza.
It’s a nicely made pizza with gyro meat, Feta and other cheese, tomatoes, onions, and sauce.
Mostly Very Good and Worth a Try!
