Peinto Thai Kitchen is located in the North/West part of Vegas. They are a full service Thai Restaurant that also offers beer and a wine list. Inside are traditional tables and booths.
I tried the Three Flavors Salmon (Sweet, Spicy, Sour). It came with steamed vegetables and rice.
It’s a generous portion of food and could possibly be two meals for some people. The salmon is cooked to well but is still moist inside. You need to use the sweet, spicy, sour sauce to add flavors to the dish. It’s tasty and good.
My husband tried the Plumena Spicy Noodle with Chicken. (#4 out of 5 for heat)
Everything thing here is tasty and #4 is a good amount of heat for this dish.
Braseria By Edo is a fancy Spanish/French Style Restaurant and Bar located near to the Las Vegas Strip in Las Vegas Nevada. It’s located on a second level so you either walk up a flight of stair outside or use an elevator to get there,
We didn’t have a reservation so we were told that we could only sit at the bar.
They gave us happy hour menus so that’s what we tried.
I tried the Burger & Frites (with grilled onions, pickle, and brava sauce and I asked for a medium cook)
I was told that this is a 10 ounce burger? (My husband thought he heard 8 ounce???? so I’m not sure) anyways I cut it in half. That mess isn’t cheese either. It’s brava sauce and onions.
It’s full of juice but it is a sloppy mess.
I think it’s cooked pass medium
I try to eat it and when I pick up just half pieces of the burger fall off.
I can’t pick this up and eat it.
It’s too squishy and messy and falling apart.
I have to eat it with a knife and fork. It’s doesn’t taste bad.
Can’t eat the pickle because it is way too strong with acid for me.
Try the fries….and the house made ketchup vinaigrette. At the time I didn’t know if the fries or the ketchup was hot and spicy that builded up and kept getting hotter. It was too hot for me and I couldn’t eat many fries. Latter I figured out that it was the ketchup that was too hot.
My husband tried the Skirt Steak with Frites cooked medium-rare.
He said that the steak was cooked unevenly and maybe half of it was rare and very stringy. He said the green pepper sauce that came with it didn’t have much flavor.
I read that Heavenly Pizza and Trattoria was by a James Beard Award Winner Chef so I thought it was Worth a Try!
It’s a little humble casual family-type little pizzeria with an amazing long and large wine list. (With MANY expensive bottles like $500.+)
My favorite of what we’ve tried was the slice of cheese pizza. It’s special and different. I never had pizza like this anywhere else before.
It’s a thin but very crisp crust that is charred on the bottom. The cheese seems like a good quality and the tomato sauce was rich. The pizza is also embellished with seasoning to make it taste just so.
Very crisp pizza – almost cracker or matzah like. Not like bread.
Then I had the branzino
It was topped with sweet roasted tomatoes and lots of mushrooms. The fish is cooked perfect and so is the rigatoni in a well made sauce.
My husband tried the Chicken Parmesan.
The chicken isn’t breaded.
Good sauce embellished with roasted sweet tomatoes. Nicely prepared rigatoni. Over cooked dry chicken.
Little Avalon Cafe is a casual coffee and healthy eats sort of place with three locations in Las Vegas Nevada. The newest North Decatur Blvd location (as of this posting) is not yet listed on their website. You come here for coffees, lattes, breakfast, all kinds of heathy bowl meals, fancy toasts, salads, smoothies, sandwiches, and even fish and chips.
It’s casual. You order and pay at the counter. They either call your name when something is ready and sometimes they run some things out to you as they are ready.
You can seat yourself on the community patio.
Or inside at a table or the counter.
I thought that the strawberry mix salad sounded good so I tried it with added salmon.
The salmon is grilled nicely with nice grill marks.
It’s also prepared surprisingly perfect with a moist medium center.
The soft greens and strawberries are nice and fresh and taste good.
But my salad is missing the candied walnuts.
It does have the quinoa but it is such a small sprinkle of quinoa that it just gets caught in your teeth. (I doubt it even amounts to a teaspoon of quinoa).
Still a good salad but missing the candied walnuts and not enough quinoa to be satisfying.
My husband tried the Philly Cheesesteak with Waffle Fries.
The sandwich is on a good quality sourdough seeded roll that is generously (maybe too generously) slathered with butter. The shaved ribeye is nicely caramelized and tastes good with the onions and bell peppers but HARDLY CONTAINS ANY CHEESE. It’s still a good sandwich but slightly disappointing with the lack of Cooper Sharp Cheese. I do note that the waffle fries are very good and are fluffy inside, freshly made and nicely seasoned.
Tres Tacos Birria De Res Food Truck is located at the Murphy Express Gas Station (6035 Losee Rd) in North Las Vegas Nevada 4pm-? Tuesdays-Sundays. They offer a limited menu of Mexican Foods.
There is no seating so you do takeout or stand at a shallow table.
On our first visit we just shared street sized double shelled chicken tacos (without the sour cream).
We were very surprised on how good the chicken tacos were. They were well packed with flavorful moist chicken.
We went back and my husband tried one of each taco they offer. (without the sour cream)
Top left – chicken taco
Top right – adobada (beef)
bottom left – asada
bottom right – birria
All were at least good. A fav might be the adobada?
I had three. (without the sour cream)
Left to right birria, chicken, asada. All good. Like the birria and chicken best.
We also shared some Mexican Rice and Beans.
On another visit my husband tried a quesabirria taco and said that it really was very VERY good!
Tres Tacos Birria De Res seems to be Worth a Fork!

I haven’t found a website for this business but they do have a Facebook Page.
The Lamb Boulevard location of Seventy Six Station Casino offers a 24/7 bar, gaming, and restaurant that also offers all day breakfast. They also offer a mostly American Menu of various lunch and dinner choices.
So far everything has been at least good (except for the salmon because it was over cooked and not flavored well)
It looks like the typical 24/7 bar, gaming and food places that we have all over town. With lots of big screen TVs and a combination of bar seating, traditional seating and high tops.
So far we’ve tried-
Poblano Rings (not on current menu)Filet Tips Salmon (only dish so far that I wouldn’t recommend)
Fish and Chips
American Burger with Onion Rings
Smokehouse Salad with BBQ Chicken
Pot Roast Melt with Tator Tots
So far everything was at least good (except the salmon)
Seventy Six Lamb by Station Casinos is Worth a Try!
Phoe Aimie is a full service Vietnamese Restaurant located in North Las Vegas Nevada. They offer twenty varieties of pho (normally a beef noodle soup). Some of the other offerings are – appetizers, vermicelli plates, rice dishes, and noodle dishes. They also offer soft beverages, Vietnamese Iced coffee, and beer.
Someone usually seats you as soon as you walk in.
It’s an Asian atmosphere inside with large Asian urns, bamboo, and hanging lanterns.
You might want to start off with something like the potstickers. You can order chicken or pork and they come out crispy.
Chicken Potstickers
You will probably order a pho.
#17 Pho T Chin with Rare Steak Brisket Pho with added Meatballs #27 Pho Sate (Spicy Peanut Soup) with rare steak and noodles
A few of the other dishes that you might want to try –
We went on a day trip to Boulder City. It’s only about 45 minutes from North Las Vegas so we thought it might be fun. They have several antique shops and a few museums there. Most places are listed as opening at 10am but I’ve found out that most of Boulder City runs very late so don’t count on any place opening on time in Boulder City.
Fox Smokehouse BBQ has an impressive 4.5 star rating out of over a thousand reviews on Yelp. They are also listed as a top Boulder City Restaurant destination by our local newspaper so I thought Fox Smokehouse BBQ was a safe and good place to try lunch.
We get there.
When you walk in to the left side is a bar and bar area. Not photoed are BUNCHES of PIG decorations. I was surprised not to find any Fox decorations at FOX Smokehouse BBQ.
To the right is a dining area with a salad bar. But I don’t know why anyone would get the salad bar here. The meats are ham, bacon, and lunch meat turkey. If they had some sort of add on to smoked meat option I might have tried it.
I ordered the smoked turkey breast platter with macaroni and cheese and also corn.
This is a lot of food that can feed 2 or more people.
The turkey really does have amazing flavors to it but it is on the DRY side.
Corn has a good flavor to it.
But the macaroni-n-cheese really sucks!
BLECH!!!!!!
It’s like mushy pasta mixed with something like Velveeta. Then they tried to mix in real cheese that didn’t melt into it.
The Kopper Keg is a 24/7 Gaming, Bar, and Dining kind of place. They have 4 locations in Vegas (North, South, East, West) and one location near by in Henderson. The menus differ slightly. Kopper Keg North offers many appetizers or bar snacks. Some of the offerings are tacos, nachos, Bavarian Pretzels, wings, salads, wraps, and pizzas.
You can sit at the bar or at a table in the dining area.
We started out with the Mac-n-Cheese bites. (They come with ranch dressing on the side)
They are actually pretty tasty. A bit spicy too.
I went with the Asian Chop Salad with Blackened Salmon.
It tastes better than it looks and the salmon is pretty good too! It’s also a large portion of salad and salmon. I’m guessing at least 6 ounces of salmon.
My husband tried the special of the day. A sausage and pepperoni sandwich with cheese, sauce, and tater tots.
Moo Woo Korean BBQ is located in the Centennial part of Las Vegas Nevada. It’s a Korean BBQ. They offer some appetizers and side dishes. The main menu are combos of 5 kinds of meat that you cook at the burner on your table that serve 2-3 people and double sized combo of ten kinds of meat that serve 4-5 people. They also offer add on plates so you can have even MORE! Soft beverages, beer, wine, and solo are offered.
We tried a special order Woo Combo (no galbe substitute spicy chicken).
We get banchan (small side dishes), rice, seasonings to start.
We also get corn cheese and some sort of soup.
We also get this really delicious salad that has a lot of flavor to it.
I think this might be the Rib Eye Steak with a small cube of beef fat.
This came out tender and delicious.
I think this was the Prime Thin Sliced Brisket.
This was the plainest of the meats but still was tender.
Below is the Bulgogi Steak.
This one was FORKING incredible. SUPER Tender and very DELICIOUS. I wish that I could come in to just get this. This is what you want here.
Below is regular Bulgogi. It’s tastier than the thin sliced brisket but not the DELICIOUS BOMB Bulgogi Steak is.
Lastly we had the Spicy Chicken instead of the galbe (rib) that normally comes with the Woo Combo.
It’s also delicious and tender. This was way more food than most couples can eat (and my husband is a big eater) We had lunch (I was too full to have dinner) and took home enough for a dinner for two for the next day.
