Freshly ground burgers are usually superior due to fresher meat and better fat distribution and also the ability to choose specific cuts for flavor. This results in a juicier and more flavorful burger compared to store bought and commercial options that often contain additives, preservatives, and gases for longer shelf life.
Chip Off The Block (connected to Butcher Block Butcher in Centennial) isn’t a fancy place. You order and pay at the counter and then seat yourself. They offer sub sandwiches, smokehouse sandwiches, cheese steaks, a wagyu melt, reuben, pastrami, meatballs sandwiches, AND A VARITY OF FRESH GROUND IN HOUSE BURGER PLATTERS.

We both tried The Gourmet Steak Burger.

My husband asked for his medium-rare with the sidewinder fries.
I asked for a medium cook without cheese and also without mustard but with sweet potato tots.

The flavors are really great on everything.
Mine was cooked nicely and was juicy and flavorful and did taste kinda like a steak.

For some odd reason they over cooked my husband’s medium-rare burger to well done.
Jeremy the owner said that he was sorry.
Not perfect but still tasty.
Chip Off The Block does serve fresh ground in house burgers.
