Tres Tacos Birria De Res FOOD TRUCK North Las Vegas NV is Worth a Fork!

Tres Tacos Birria De Res Food Truck is located at the Murphy Express Gas Station (6035 Losee Rd) in North Las Vegas Nevada 4pm-? Tuesdays-Sundays. They offer a limited menu of Mexican Foods.

There is no seating so you do takeout or stand at a shallow table.

On our first visit we just shared street sized double shelled chicken tacos (without the sour cream).

We were very surprised on how good the chicken tacos were. They were well packed with flavorful moist chicken.

We went back and my husband tried one of each taco they offer. (without the sour cream)

Top left – chicken taco

Top right – adobada (beef)

bottom left – asada

bottom right – birria

All were at least good. A fav might be the adobada?

I had three. (without the sour cream)

Left to right birria, chicken, asada. All good. Like the birria and chicken best.

We also shared some Mexican Rice and Beans.

On another visit my husband tried a quesabirria taco and said that it really was very VERY good!

Tres Tacos Birria De Res seems to be Worth a Fork!

Seventy Six Lamb by Station Casinos is mostly good and is Worth a Try! – North Las Vegas NV

The Lamb Boulevard location of Seventy Six Station Casino offers a 24/7 bar, gaming, and restaurant that also offers all day breakfast. They also offer a mostly American Menu of various lunch and dinner choices.

So far everything has been at least good (except for the salmon because it was over cooked and not flavored well)

It looks like the typical 24/7 bar, gaming and food places that we have all over town. With lots of big screen TVs and a combination of bar seating, traditional seating and high tops.

So far we’ve tried-

Poblano Rings (not on current menu)
Filet Tips
Salmon (only dish so far that I wouldn’t recommend)

Fish and Chips

American Burger with Onion Rings

Smokehouse Salad with BBQ Chicken

Pot Roast Melt with Tator Tots

So far everything was at least good (except the salmon)

My Trip to Flowing Tide Pub 8 – Las Vegas NV

Flowing Tide Pub 8 is a 24/7 Bar, Gaming, and Restaurant Type of place that is located in the Centennial Part of Las Vegas Nevada. It looks very similar to most of the other 24/7 bar, gaming, restaurant places with a big bar in the middle and lots of big screen TVs. They offer many of the usual foods that you get in these kinds of places. They offer all day breakfast, sandwiches, burgers, salads, pastas, entrees and more.

This one has bar seating, high top table seating, high booths, and some sofa seating. I noticed one small traditional table by one of the doors. People under 21 are not allowed in.

We started by sharing an appetizer called Caulifire (spicy cauliflower)

It came with a sauce described as creamy gorgonzola with cilantro. Whatever it all was everything had good flavors to it. The cauliflower did run very spicy. I needed to use the creamy sauce to eat it. I liked the flavors but the cauliflower was a soft and maybe overcooked.

I tried the pacific salmon for dinner.

I asked for a medium cook on the salmon. It’s not medium but is moist so I’m happy enough. Tastes like mostly butter and dill. The vegetables seem fresh but are slightly over cooked and are very soft. The rice is tasty.

My husband tried the fish (cod) and chips.

It was mostly good. Liked the blue cheese slaw and fries. Liked the fish but the batter was soft like cake and not crispy.

That was my trip to Flowing Tide Pub 8.

Great American Foodie Fest 2026 Las Vegas

Great American Foodie Fest took place in Desert Breeze Park in Las Vegas Nevada May 8, 9, &10 2026. General Admission was $10 to get in plus the cost of food and drink. One of the VIP options was $45. but included trips to five food trucks.

They were organized in a strange way that was a mess.

We had to wait in one line to get wrist bands and then jump into another line to get in. Then we choose VIP and had to wait in a third line to get our food tickets.

What I didn’t know was that only certain food trucks offered the VIP food.

and you needed your cell phone to figure this out.

The seating was limited and filled up fast. It protected you from the 100F heat we had today.

They were playing LOUD older music. I heard an EXTRA LONG version of Rod Steward’s – Do You Think I’m Sexy followed by Abba’s Dancing Queen.

First Bites were –

Birria La Paz – Fish Taco and Shrimp Taco – Actually very tasty

Next was

A slice of plain pizza for me and a slice of pepperoni for my husband from – Sincity Pizza

and I was kinda full so we finished with 1/2 a ice cream filled doughnut.

from Yonutz

I now know that I will never purchase tickets in advance and also will just do general admission because I didn’t get my VIP’s money’s worth. I also didn’t try other food trucks that I might have enjoyed more because I already paid for a much smaller VIP selection.

The Kopper Keg North – Las Vegas NV – Worth a Try!

The Kopper Keg is a 24/7 Gaming, Bar, and Dining kind of place. They have 4 locations in Vegas (North, South, East, West) and one location near by in Henderson. The menus differ slightly. Kopper Keg North offers many appetizers or bar snacks. Some of the offerings are tacos, nachos, Bavarian Pretzels, wings, salads, wraps, and pizzas.

You can sit at the bar or at a table in the dining area.

We started out with the Mac-n-Cheese bites. (They come with ranch dressing on the side)

They are actually pretty tasty. A bit spicy too.

I went with the Asian Chop Salad with Blackened Salmon.

It tastes better than it looks and the salmon is pretty good too! It’s also a large portion of salad and salmon. I’m guessing at least 6 ounces of salmon.

My husband tried the special of the day. A sausage and pepperoni sandwich with cheese, sauce, and tater tots.

Not high end but is OK

Moo Woo Korean BBQ Is Worth a Fork! Las Vegas NV

Moo Woo Korean BBQ is located in the Centennial part of Las Vegas Nevada. It’s a Korean BBQ. They offer some appetizers and side dishes. The main menu are combos of 5 kinds of meat that you cook at the burner on your table that serve 2-3 people and double sized combo of ten kinds of meat that serve 4-5 people. They also offer add on plates so you can have even MORE! Soft beverages, beer, wine, and solo are offered.

We tried a special order Woo Combo (no galbe substitute spicy chicken).

We get banchan (small side dishes), rice, seasonings to start.

We also get corn cheese and some sort of soup.

We also get this really delicious salad that has a lot of flavor to it.

I think this might be the Rib Eye Steak with a small cube of beef fat.

This came out tender and delicious.

I think this was the Prime Thin Sliced Brisket.

This was the plainest of the meats but still was tender.

Below is the Bulgogi Steak.

This one was FORKING incredible. SUPER Tender and very DELICIOUS. I wish that I could come in to just get this. This is what you want here.

Below is regular Bulgogi. It’s tastier than the thin sliced brisket but not the DELICIOUS BOMB Bulgogi Steak is.

Lastly we had the Spicy Chicken instead of the galbe (rib) that normally comes with the Woo Combo.

It’s also delicious and tender. This was way more food than most couples can eat (and my husband is a big eater) We had lunch (I was too full to have dinner) and took home enough for a dinner for two for the next day.

I have to say Moo Woo BBQ is Worth a Fork!

Dining Out with DOGS in Las Vegas NV – April 2026

Dining Out With DOGS is just a “FLUFF” Story about taking my dogs out to eat. It all sort of started with my late dog Louie. He always enjoyed going out to eat. When Louie got elderly he came down with aggressive cancer. We were told that poor old sweet Louie only had about three months or possibly up to six months to live. I took dear old Louie out as often as I could and Louie made it another seventeen months. Today I take my current dogs out to eat when I can and when the weather is right.

We had record breaking HIGH HEAT in Vegas. It was best to take the dogs out for a ride and bring something back home. The dogs enjoyed a car ride to IN-N-OUT Burger. The bigger dog just swatted the smaller dog out of her way so she could look and see the burger action.

Look I think she is smiling.

Back to home because they could burn their paws on the hot patio there.

Time to eat –

I think the little one is making faces?

The dogs always enjoy a trip to IN-N-OUT Burger.

www.IN-N-OUT.com

It was cool this week so we went to Those Guys Pies. If they sound familiar to you then maybe you saw them on Food Network’s Diners Drive Ins and Dives. They specialize in cheesesteaks and pizza. So of course my husband gets a cheesesteak here.

I usually get a lakeside salad with fried chicken.

Inside is a craft dog biscuit vending machine so we always get the dogs some craft biscuits. Today they got chicken craft biscuits.

A nice person working there brought out a bowl of water for my dogs.

Then they got to feast on fried chicken and some cheesesteak.

The dogs always love going to Those Guys Pies.

The following week it was a nice comfortable temperature but we had un usually high winds. So we did the car ride thing to In-N-Out Burger.

The Giant Aussie pushed the Beagle-Mix out of his seat so she could watch the burger action.

I think she is smiling.

They get some cheeseburger at home.

They always love cheeseburgers.

www.In-N-Out.com

Weather was better and we drove to the California Fish Grill.

I shared grilled salmon from my grilled salmon salad with the dogs.

And my husband shared some of his battered fish and chips and shrimp skewer with the dogs too.

The dogs always enjoy the California Fish Grill.

Well that was Dining Out with DOGS for April 2026. We hope that you’ve enjoyed and we hope to see you next month.

Vegas Unstripped April 26 2026

Unstripped is a food Festival and for the 3rd year in a row took place at the Palms Casino Hotel. Only most of the best chefs in Las Vegas get invited to participate in this festival. Tickets started at $158. a person. To get into this food festival you must arrive EARLY. The festival starts at 6pm and you get in and wait your turn in line. If you want to get in early you wait in line starting at 5pm. We came at 5 and got in at 6. But many got in much latter and waited much longer in line.

I thought three dishes I tried were amazing, most were good, a few I didn’t care for, and one had steak on it that I couldn’t chew.

A few of our favorites in no particular order –

Parking was close, free and easy.
