Los Sombreros is not your Forking rice and beans Americanized Budget Cheesy Chimichanga kind of place.
Flour tortillas aren’t even Forking in the house.
And You are Not going to see all the servers singing and clapping a Forking Birthday Song.
Also certainly not this kind of Forking place.
You’re Not going to order a combination plate. Nor are you going to chug unlimited soft drinks and fill up on Forking chips.
Instead of a beef taco you are going to live a little and try a Hibiscus Taco and appreciate how different and good it is.
Instead of a Mexi Style Salad in a little fried bowl you might order a Crab and Mango Salad.
Or enjoy some tasty Corn Chowder.
If your in the mood for Seafood you might get hooked on the Trout with Garlic Almonds and Capers.
Or the Snapper with Esquites.
Maybe you want something Chicken? How about Chicken Breast stuffed with Hultlacoche (not a truffle but called Mexican Truffle) and Goat Cheese.
Thinking about Pork? Then maybe you might want a Pork Chop with Tamarind Mole.
You sure don’t see Soufflé on most Mexican Menus but you can order Corn Soufflé with Mole Sauce here!
If you still have room for dessert you might want to try the creamy in house made Piloncllo Ice Cream.
Los Sombreros is located in Down Town Scottsdale. The service ranged between excellent to average. That is the Forking Truth!
The Food Photos I took were from a Ten Course Special tasting menu. Ten Courses made for Two People that cost $75.
