*****UPDATE NOW CLOSED FOR BUSINESS****The Scottsdale Beer Company is located in an outdoor mall in Scottsdale Arizona. They brew Craft Beer, they offer many local Craft Beers and serve Chef Crafted elevated Bar Foods in a casual roomy sort of bar type of atmosphere.
Even if you’re not sitting at the actual bar it still feels like you are at the bar…..Maybe to make you feel like you need to wet your whistle.
It might be a different feel on the official dog friendly patio…..but I haven’t tried it out yet.
The menu changes with the seasons. Here are things we tried from previous visits.
Shrimp Po Boy – Cajun Style Shrimp, pickled onions, Calabrian Chili Remoulade with House Made Chips
Grilled Lime Cilantro Marinated Chicken Sandwich with Jalapeño Jam and Avocado Aioli
Battered Walleye Pike and Chips
Mac “N” Cheese
House Cured Lox Salad
Roasted Cauliflower with Almonds and Smoked Tomatoes
House Made Andouille Sausages with Creamy Grits and Shrimp Gravy
Texas Tea Stout Chocolate Cake
Today I tried a Chicken Sandwich with a Salad as my side.
This platter might appear ordinary but it isn’t. The bun is a quality lightly toasted Olive Oil Bun that is spread with creamy avocado. My protein is a citrus marinated grilled and carefully charred juicy chicken breast topped with bib lettuce, ripe tomato and chipotle aioli. It’s delicious with great flavors going on…..The Chicken is so juicy the tray collects a puddle of juice when I eat the sandwich……My only complaint is that there is WAY too much roll here on this particular sandwich. I only needed less than half the roll. I regret not showing a fork here this roll is incredibly large.
Hand made light as air croutons melt in the mouth like no other crouton I ever had. The delicious vinaigrette and sweet tomatoes combined with those amazing croutons makes a simple mixed greens salad seem satisfying…..almost indulgent.
My husband had the House Made Beer Braised Bratwurst with Cabbage Slaw, IPA Mustard aioli on Soft Roll and Four Cheese Macaroni and Cheese as his side.
It’s a very large platter but it’s all great!…….everything is masterfully seasoned…. This is one of the few platters My husband couldn’t finish. It’s rare that he has leftovers.
