There is ALWAYS something new, weird, different, limited, or special edition in the wonderful world of food. We never know WTFork we will come across when we shop for food.

Up above is –

DIFFERENT – Old El Paso Cinnamon Toast Crunch Dessert Shells. I guess it’s something to TACO about.

LIMITED EDITION – Kellogg’s Fruit Loops Sweethearts….UGH!……..They are not LOOPS if they are hearts………..Dah!

DIFFERENT – Nomad Ramen flavored Popcorn…..Something to go STIR-Crazy for?

DIFFERENT – Nomad Chimichurri Popcorn……….DILL-Licious!

DIFFERENT – Chata Cochinita Pibil shredded pork in a can – Pig Out when ever you want!

NEW – Pringles (not so new I’ve seen them months ago) Mingles Dill Pickle and Ranch….??????

DIFFERENT – Pringles Chili Cheese Fries

DIFFERENT – Pringles Mexican Street Corn

DIFFERENT – Pringles – All Dressed – Tomato, Onion, Vinegar ……

LIMITED EDITION – Goldfish ….?….Butterscotch…..Butterbeer….? Harry Potter Crackers….?……Sounds like Goldfish Crackers have gone crackers.

DIFFERENT – Valasic Dill Pickle – Pickle Ball Corn Puffs – ?????? Dill-lisious?

DIFFERENT – Dolly Parton’s Original Syrup in a guitar shaped bottle might be music to someone’s ears.

WEIRD – Emerald Sugar Cookie Flavored Cashews. Someone must have been on drugs to think this one up.

DIFFERENT – Grillo’s Pickles – Pickle de Gallo in mild and hot – It a cure for the usual.

WEIRD – Long Chips – Mashed Potato Honey BBQ Long Chips. Why would anyone want honey & BBQ on their mashed potatoes? ……I Gave it a try…..Not bad…actually good….but too bad….can’t be found anywhere…..Maybe discontinued?

DIFFERENT but also kinda WEIRD – Protein Poppers Birthday Cake Chips. I don’t know…This one almost seems normal after the last two.

DIFFERENT – The Saucy Ladies – Marinara Kettle Chips. Maybe someone was sauced to think this flavor up?

DIFFERENT – Tochi Kung Fu Panda 4 Chili Crisp Gourmet Popcorn – Sounds tasty…don’t know….haven’t tried.

DIFFERENT Rao’s Chicken & Gnocchi Soup…….Awwwwwwww…..The pastabilities!

and there is usually something Oreo

DIFFERENT – Oreo Thins in ARTIFICIALLY FLAVORED Irish Cream.

Well that was the New Weird Different Limited and Special Edition for March 2025. Who knows WTFORK we’ll come across next month.

There is always something new, weird, different, limited and special edition in the wonderful world of food. We just never know WTFork we will come across when we shop for food. This month was just potatoes I came across many new and most certainly DIFFERENT flavors of Pringles Chips so we will start with that.

Up above is –

DIFFERENT – Pringles in Elote Flavor. Could be good…Could be just corny?

DIFFERENT – Pringles Hot Ones Verde. Might be very hot?

DIFFERENT – Pringles Carnitas Taco – It’s vegetarian and kosher lol

DIFFERENT – Pringles Hot Honey

DIFFERENT – Pringles Honey Mustard

DIFFERENT – Pringles – Philly Cheesteak

DIFFERENT – Pringles – Everything Bagel

and REALLY DIFFERENT

NEW – Pringles Mingles BBQ & Pizza – They sound good but taste weird

DIFFERENT – Sonic Potato Tots

DIFFERENT Sonic Fries

DIFFERENT – Red Robin Seasoned Steak Fries

DIFFERENT – Nathan’s Thick Battered Onion Rings

The next one I really never expected to see in a supermarket….

DIFFERENT – Arby’s Seasoned Curly Fries

DIFFERENT – Hormel Chili in Ghost Reaper flavor – Not for tenderfoots

LIMITED EDITION – Wonderful Sweet Cinnamon Pistachios

WEIRD – Mardi Pardi – Whiskey Baked Granola with notes of cream cheese and cinnamon

DIFFERENT – Ocean’s Shakshuka Pink Salmon

DIFFERENT – Ocean’s Thai Green Curry Pink Salmon

LIMITED EDITION – 7Up Shirley Temple Pomegranate and Cherry Soda. I thought a Shirley Temple Drink was Grenadine and Ginger Ale?

DIFFERENT and LEFTOVER – Twix and Snickers in Ghoulish Green …sounds gross

LIMITED EDITION – General Mills Apple Pie Toast Crunch Cereal

And there is usually something Oreo.

LIMITED EDITION – Game day Oreo. Same old cookie with 5 different football designs Oh Boy!

That was the New, Weird, Different, Limited & Special Edition out there for January 2025. Who KNOWS WTFork we’ll come across next month.

The FORKING Weirdest Looking Potato Chip Ever!

I found the weirdest looking potato chip ever. I found it at Big Lots. The brand is called Long Chips. they are called Mashed Potato Snack. The flavor was honey BBQ.

They are super thin and you can almost see through them. to my surprise they taste ok……..Kinda good actually.

I wasn’t able to find any information on them on the web.

Don’t know if I will ever come across them again.

These Long Chips were the FORKING Weirdest Looking Potato Chips ever!

There is always something new, weird, different, limited, and special edition in the wonderful world of food. We just never know WTFork we will come across when we shop for food.

Up above is –

NEW – General Mills NEW and IMPROVED Kit Kat Cereal. The prior cereal was Old and Lousy this is New and Improved.

NEW – Kellogg’s Chocolate Milkshake flavored cereal that turns your stomach….OPPS! I mean milk chocolate flavored.

DIFFERENT – Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes with Vanilla Marshmallows that are Tigar, Bulldog, Lion, Bear, and Cougar shaped???????? Just look at the marshmallows….Does that look anything like a bulldog or a bear?

DIFFERENT – General Mills – Honey Nut Cheerios Minis….Looks like you get less cereal? Doesn’t look filling?

DIFFERENT – Kellogg’s Rainbow Sherbet that cools your mouth Froot Loops. Sounds interesting but the cereal is no longer a loop………It’s a scoop!

DIFFERENT and maybe NEW – General Mills – Trix turns cereal a mystery color…sounds scary.

DIFFERENT – General Mills Cinnamon Toast Crunch Rolls…..

DIFFERENT and maybe NEW – Post Waffle Crisp Cereal …I never saw this before

DIFFERENT and also maybe NEW – General Mills French Toast Crunch bursting with syrup and cinnamon taste….?

LIMITED EDITION and WEIRD – Cap’n Crunch’s ARTIFICIALLY Flavored Seaberry Crunch…..I think the octopus poops them out.

WEIRD – Post – Fruity Pebbles Waffles that are fruity blasted……….If they are waffles then they are not Pebbles…DAH!

NEW – General Mills -Reese’s Puffs in Peanut Butter Lovers Flavor……

DIFFERENT – Jimmy Nardello Peppers – I was going to purchase them but all the packages had partially rotten and also very soggy peppers in them…..The Jimmy Nardello is an heirloom pepper that is sweet but is suppose to have a much better flavor than a bell pepper……

LIMITED EDITION – Terra Herb Stuffing Flavored with Sage and Rosemary Vegetable Chips. Maybe you need cranberry dip for them?

NEW – Lay’s Kettle Cooked Cajun Spice Potato Chips – Why not?

DIFFERENT – Kettle Naturally flavored spicy pimento cheese potato chips. They actually sound good but I don’t know if they are good. They only place them by the door so I always forget to pick them up. Then going out I can’t buy them so I always forget.

DIFFERENT – Sunny Calabrian Chili Tahini Dip……Different Maybe unusual to use Calabrian Chili with anything Middle Eastern.

DIFFERENT – Betty Crocker Cinnamon Toast Crunch Frosting – Made with Cinnadust Frosting….Well at least they are honest.

DIFFERENT – Vital Farms True Blues Pasture-Raised Heirloom BLUE Eggs….Do they make you poo blue?

LIMITED EDITION – Krispy Kreme Merry Grinchmas Doughnuts …HO HO HO!

And there is usually something Oreo.

Limited Edition – Nabisco White Fudge Covered Oreo Cookies

My FORKING Thoughts on Savoursmiths Truffle Rosemary Vegan Luxury English Potato Chips

I noticed these Savoursmiths Truffle Rosemary Potato Chips for around $6.99 a bag at my local Sprouts Grocery. They became discontinued and were marked down to a $1. a bag so I decided to give them a try.

The bag is marked Vegan and the ingredients don’t seem too far out so they seem safe to try.

I open the bag and take a whiff.

They smell strange…………Maybe a little like a herbal soap?

I pour some out.

The chips differ in size from small to large in size and do appear to have bubbly layers in the chips……

Texture-wise the chips are amazing. Crisp but not too crisp with layers also dry and not oily.

but-

The chips are coated very heavy with powders and are over seasoned. They even seem cheesy but cheese is not listed in the ingredients.

Between the cheesy taste, mushroom, onion, garlic, thyme, rosemary, truffle it is all too much and is far too powdery to enjoy.

Those were my FORKING Thoughts on Savoursmiths Truffle and Rosemary Chips.

DIFFERENT – Lay’s Cucumber potato chips…..I had these before….I think I liked them?

DIFFERENT – Lay’s Crispy Chicken Leg. ???

DIFFERENT – Lay’s Grilled Squid – Not for me!

WEIRD – Lay’s Hot & Spicy Braised Duck Tongue……Potato Chips………

WEIRD – Bob Ross flavor palette dipping candy………

DIFFERENT – Snickers Butterscotch….Might be good?

DIFFERENT – Elite – Shtix – milk chocolate with popping candies…..Shtix just sounds funny or like something nasty……

LIMITED EDITION – General Mills – Frosted Berry with OTHER natural flavors Cheerios…….”OTHER” flavors can mean anything in the food world like beaver butt juice.

DIFFERENT – By Gene Simmons – Money Bags Cane Sugar Sodas……I guess Gene Simmons from KISS is known as Money Bags?

DIFFERENT – By Gene Simmons – Moneybag Vodka …..Sounds expensive?

And there is usually something Oreo…..

LIMITED EDITION – Sour Patch Kids Oreo Cookies that are Sour Patch Kids flavored cookies & Creme with colorful inclusions…….

My FORKING Thoughts on San Carlo la Vita e Buona Pesto Flavored Potato Chips

I came across these San Carlo la Vita e Buona Pesto Flavored Potato Chips from a specialty on line food store called Yummy Bazaar when I was there buying something else. It says on the bag that this is Italy’s #1 potato chip and I like pesto so I wanted to give it a try.

The ingredients look safe.

I open it up and take a whiff……

It smells something like dried basil………..

I spill some out….

The chips are on the small side.

I eat a few.

They taste almost like pesto…………but a little different……I almost never say this but I think that these chips can use some salt.

The texture of the chips is very different from most chips that I have tried.

The chips are extra thin and have like a hard thin but delicate styrofoam texture that is very strange.

The flavor is a little off………… but because of the texture I might not try this brand again.

That was my FORKING Experience with San Carlo La Vita e Buona Pesto Flavored Potato Chips.

But your FORKING Experience may indeed differ.

DIFFERENT & maybe WEIRD? – Yummies – Zambo’s Ceviche Plantain Chips………..I just don’t know about plantain chips tasting like raw marinated shellfish? Then on the other hand – WHO KNOWS?>>>>>>>maybe it taste like a Shellabration?

DIFFERENT – Yummies Zambos Salsa Verde Plantain Chips. This one might be good so let’s dive in and spice things up with salsa verde flavored Plantain Chips!

DIFFERENT – Yummies Zambos Yuquitas Chile Toreado Chips – I think these are Yucca Chips with Jalapeño Lime flavor…..These also sound tasty and something to dive into…..Maybe one needs a nice refreshing beverage after this………

WEIRD – Seven 7 Select Big Bite Hot Dog Sparkling Water……….Might not be something to muster…………BURP!

DIFFERENT – Elote & Hatch White Carrot Chips…..????? Different and maybe Weird?hey sound tasty but aren’t so good…Oh well

DIFFERENT – Hot Honey White Carrot Chips…DARN should have bought them…..because the Hot Honey Beet Chips were delicious!

DIFFERENT – Alef Uncured Harissa Wagyu Beef Salami….Sounds good but I can’t say for sure.

DIFFERENT – Good Measure Crunchy Sriracha Almond Crisps…….Different!

WEIRD – WEIRD Yerba….YUP it’s WEIRD!

WEIRD – Keurig IHOP Artificially coffee flavored buttery syrup and chocolate chocolate chip pancake mixes……..WEIRD!

DIFFERENT – Fillo’s Walking Tamales in bean salsa habanero and Mexican chocolate almond flavors

DIFFERENT – Fillo’s Walking Tamales in bean salsa verde and bean salsa roja flavors

DIFFERENT and maybe WEIRD – Hershey’s Milklicious the middle of chocolate bar is replaced with chocolate frosting…..I think that is weird.

DIFFERENT – Van Leeuwen’s Lemon Poppy Seed Muffin French Ice Cream

DIFFERENT – Van Leeuwen’s French Macaron French Ice Cream

And there is usually something Oreo.

LIMITED EDITION – ARTIFICIALLY FLAVORED Churro Flavor Creme Oreo Cookies. Oh Boy what did we do to deserve such a treat!

DIFFERENT – Dee’s Nuts in banana pudding flavored peanuts….???? I think I’d like them with a candy coating but I also think they might be gross if the peanuts are covered in instant pudding powder…??????

DIFFERENT – Dees Nuts in Hot Cheddah peanuts…could go either way?

DIFFERENT – Dee’s Nuts in ranch sriracha peanuts……..ODD thing I noticed…….the first two flavors probably have pork or a meat in them…..Only this can of Dee’s Nuts are kosher and dairy (the circled “U” and the “D”). Isn’t that rooting tooting weird?

Up above is –

WEIRD – Kellogg’s NEW SHAPE Fruity Rainbow Krispies with natural and OTHER? natural flavors. I don’t know WTFORK to think about this….They don’t resemble the normal Rice Krispies in anyway or flavor. But with all them colors I’m sure they can make you FART a rainbow.

NEW – Kellogg’s Special K Strawberry Cheesecake flavored flakes and dipped flakes……What are the dipped flakes? This one just doesn’t seem right…..

NEW or LIMITED EDITION – Kellogg’s Fruit Loops that turns milk berry-licious. I was hoping that this would be Snozberry flavored……..Oh well no snozberries here or chocolate from the chocolate factory..

DIFFERENT – Kellogg’s Froot Loops Cereal straws…looks fun for children!

WEIRD – General Mills Hot Wheels Cereal…..Well why didn’t they make the cereal look like the wheels? or cars? Bet this cereal gives you GAS if you eat it.

NEW – POP-tarts naturally and artificially flavored Banana Bread tarts……..Maybe some people will go bananas for it?

NEW and WEIRD – POP-tarts naturally and artificially flavored frosted apple cinnamon Apple Jacks flavored tarts. ???? hard-core weird.

WEIRD – French’s Yellow Mustard Skittles – NoooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOooooooooope!

DIFFERENT – Emperador Pecan Flavored Sandwich Cookies. Sounds a little nutty but tasty if good.

LIMITED EDITION – Hershey;s Popping Candy Bars These look like leftovers from the 4th of July? Looks like they might make you explosive farts. Be careful where you eat them.

WEIRD – Digiorno Thanksgiving pie…..Gobble Gobble lol

DIFFERENT – Taco Bell Hot taco shells….?????

DIFFERENT & maybe WEIRD & maybe LIMITED EDITION? Paqui Haunted Ghost Pepper Chips……..Maybe they get haunted ghost peppers for Halloween?

LIMITED EDITION – Lay’s Cheetoes Cheese flavored Chips……I don’t know? Could go either way?

NEW – Pringles Harvest Blends that are potatoes and other stuff blended with sweet potato…Sounds good but don’t know yet?

DIFFERENT and maybe Limited Edition….Pringles Enchilada Adobada Chips…..Now that’s different!

DIFFERENT – Brad’s Vampire Killer Crunchy Kale……..I tried them…….They are very different…..Not partially garlic-ee or spicy……More citrus-ee, nutty, and sort of raisin-like in taste.

NEW – Cheese Bites Mozzamini Pearls in original and wasabi….Did I see that right? Yes…wasabi…That’s FORKING strange…..

DIFFERENT – Tabasco Sriracha..???? Is it made of tabasco peppers? Is it sriracha? I’m confused.

DIFFERENT – Cholula in chipotle and sweet habanero…UMMM might be good!

NEW – Cholula in tequila and lime flavor…That sound good for fish or chicken to me…..and

DIFFERENT – Cholula in a green pepper variety….Might be tasty?

This next one is FORKING WEIRD

WEIRD – Bubble Lick in natural bacon flavor. Bacon flavored bubbles for dogs and kids. This will make your dog and kids farts smell like bacon. Watch Out!
