Zaytinya is a Mediterranean Restaurant by Chef José Andrés. The Las Vegas Location is in the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace on the Las Vegas Strip in Nevada. They offer a main menu and a chef’s experience menu. On the night of my visit it was still Restaurant Week and a special Restaurant Week Menu (June 2-20th 2025) was also being offered. (Zaytinya translates to Olive Oil in Greek).
It’s modern and attractive inside. Below is the bar area.

Below pictured is part of the Dining Area-

Whatever you order they start you off with pita breads and oil embellished with balsamic.

The pitas are hallow and are more like balloon bread.

We started out with hummus, crisp vegetables (an added extra plate), and stuffed grape leaves called dolmades.

We both really enjoyed the crisp vegetables, and the amazing grape leaves. The grape leaves might have been the best I’ve tasted anywhere. I like the flavors in the hummus but not so much the texture because here it is very thick.
Next was a beet salad and Brussels sprouts.

The salad was good. The Brussels sprout had good flavors but the actual Brussels sprouts were served all dried out.
For my husbands main he had the Cumin Spiced Meatballs. He said they were really different but good.

I tried the salmon.

It was 2/3rds very good and 1/3rd awful……See next picture.

It’s hard for you to tell but this is a very small, very flat piece of fish and it is 1/3 bloodline (The dark meat pictured) Usually in nicer restaurants they remove the bloodline because it taste like bad fish.
Last course was dessert.

We both received Olive Oil Cakes that were very good.
We also received Greek Yogurts with Cherry that were interesting and different. We received the Greek Yogurts as a bonus plate because my husband complained about them sending all the plates of food to the table at once.

Zaytinya – Mostly Good but not perfect.
