NEW WEird DIFFerent Limited and Special Edition Foods out there October 2021

There is ALWAYS something New, weird, different, limited or special edition in the wonderful world of food. We never know WTFork we will come across when we shop for food.

Up above are –

DIFFERENT – Peeps marshmallow chicks in blue raspberry. OK….I’ve never come across a raspberry that is blue……???? Maybe the taste of raspberries make some people sad or blue????????? Who knows?

WEIRD – Peeps marshmallow sour watermelon chicks……I do eat watermelon and some are better than others but I’ve never come across a watermelon that is sour so this is weird.

DIFFERENT – Peeps Hot Tamales fierce cinnamon marshmallow chicks that are artificially flavored….Well I guess if you like artificial squishy cinnamon then you are in luck!

DIFFERENT – Peeps that are fruit punch flavored marshmallow chicks…….punch like the kid’s drink or punch like in the face flavored?????

LIMITED EDITION – Peeps that are marshmallow ghost shaped..BOOH Are they hauntingly ghoul’d?

LIMITED EDITION – Hyde and EKK! Orange dipped pretzel rods with white fudge drizzle…..Orange dip on a pretzel????? might make you go EKK!

DIFFERENT – Nonni’s blueberry streusel biscotti – Might be good? or might suck?

LIMITED EDITION – Tootsie POPS in caramel artificially flavored….HOW THE FORK do you artificially flavor FORKING sugar? Everyone knows that these pops are made of sugar…and most people know that caramel is only sugar that is heated to 170 degrees…….It just doesn’t seem right to artificially flavor anything caramel flavored.

NEW – Junior Mints in minis….I wonder why they just didn’t name them JUNIOR Mints Juniors?

LIMITED EDITION – Junior Mints – with orange and black centers……BOO!

DIFFERENT – Utz- Daisies chocolate flavored (not real chocolate) covered pretzels that don’t look like pretzels…..Who thought of this?…Looks like cow diarrhea pies to me.

LIMITED EDITION – Reese’s White and Chocolate Pumpkins……I have to say they look mummy…I mean scrummy!

DIFFERENT – Reese’s White cream stuffed with peanut butter and Reese’s pieces…and M&M’s cookies and scream with artificial flavors….At least they are honest.

LIMITED EDITION – Hostess Ghost White Ding Dongs with Scream filling. That just sounds funny. Say that to someone…I dare you.

LIMITED EDITION- Hostess spooky Twinkies with scream filling. Silly but not as funny sounding.

LIMITED EDITION – Hostess Scary Cakes with scream filling. I’d be scared to eat them…HA

LIMITED EDITION – Red Vines twists in candy corn flavor…Wow what a twist on Red Vines.

NEW & WEIRD – Brach’s turkey dinner candy corn of green beans, roasted turkey, cranberry sauce, ginger glazed carrots, sweet potato pie, and stuffing…I feel full just writing that.

NEW and WEIRD – Crunchers vegan beyond bacon crunchy sprouted mung beans…..I like mung beans and have read that mung beans are suppose to be very healthy to eat so I picked this up….The mung beans no longer taste like mung beans and just taste like crunchy smoke….bah

LIMITED EDITION – Cheetos bag of bones in flaming hot…….? (You won’t be boney if you eat the whole FORKING bag you know!)

Limited Edition – Cheetos Bag of bones in cinnamon sugar????? (another bag of bones so you won’t be boney….Just FORKING goblin them down.

LIMITED EDITION – Kellogg’s Chocolate Frosted Flakes with spooky marshmallows….I might be afraid to eat this?

LIMITED EDITION – General Mills Monster Mash Cereal – It’s a combination of the monster cereals. There’s marshmallows, berry flavored, Frosted Flakes and maybe chocolate…..This is scary…..It’s like Rocky Horror in a box.

NEW – Kellogg’s Eggo chocolate and OTHER natural flavors waffle cereal. They don’t look like waffles to me….Why would I want waffles in a bowl of milk?…..Just dam call it ice cream toppers….That would be better.

DIFFERENT – Twistd Italian inspired savory lemon flavored couscous with sunflower seeds and Mexican inspired smoked paprika & lime rice side dishes. Both of these are really different….Never thought I’d see them on a shelf.

DIFFERENT – Progresso toppers- tomato basil soup with cheddar crackers. Sounds good but it sure contributes to the landfill.

NEW and maybe WEIRD – Banza rice made from chickpeas in regular and garlic olive oil……Why on earth do chickpeas need to be rice shaped? And WhoTFork is too lazy to add garlic and olive oil to their rice shaped chick peas……

WEIRD – Micky Bow Tie “pasta” mini apple cinnamon puffed snacks and bow tie “pasta’ minis Mac & cheese snacks. This is weird because pasta is a noodle……usually wet…Not a puffy snack…..

DIFFERENT – Andy Capp’s cheddar fries potato snack – You just don’t see this often in Phoenix.

DIFFERENT – Vegan Rob’s potato and sorghum cauli-crisps……This one is kinda WEIRD too…Ok the crisp are made of potato & sorghum…ok that is great… I am wondering aren’t they made from cauliflower too?

DIFFERENT – Vegan Rob’s potato & sorghum chips…these ones had added turmeric and black pepper.

DIFFERENT – Vegan Rob’s potato & sorghum crisps called Dragon Crisps fire breathing….Guess that means that they are spicy….and not made of dragon fruit. Whatever!

LIMITED EDITION – Sprouts Potato Co Kettle Style Chips in Aloha BBQ (pineapple and sweet onion) and also a flavor called burger topping (ketchup, mustard, & pickle) DIFFERENT TOO! Would they be gouda together??????

LIMITED EDITION – Keebler Fudge Stripes Cookies ……..that ARN”T FUDGE STRIPES……and are Pumpkin Spice Stripes instead………OH FUDGE!

And there is always a FORKING Oreo…..

Here’s an Oreo monster decorating cookie kit that includes 8 Oreo cookies, body cookies, icing, candy jewels, and gummies OH MY!

And then there is another FORKING Oreo.

NEW – dark chocolate thins Oreo cookies.

Yet another FORKING Oreo!

LIMITED EDITION – Boo (HOO) Oreo cookies. It reads orange colored cream but the same taste…..(boo hoo)

Well that was the NEW, WEIRD, DIFFERENT, Limited, and Special Edition foods out there for October 2021. Who Knows WTFork I’ll come across next month.

There is ALWAYS something NEW, weird, different, limited, and special edition out there in the wonderful world of food. We never FORKING know what we will come across when we shop for food.

Up above is…….

NEW – Post Fruity Pebble Crisps. It reads on the box that these are crispy rice crisps. Well Fruity Pebbles are made mostly from rice. Some of the other ingredients are artificial colors and artificial flavors and natural fruit flavors too.

NEW – Post Cocoa Pebbles Crisps. These have natural & artificial chocolate flavor in them….yabba dabba don’t!

NEW – Post Cocoa Pebbles milk chocolate barXL and Post Fruity Pebbles candy bars……made by Frankford….same company that makes those cheap Christmas and Easter Chocolates………..

DIFFERENT and maybe NEW – Cap’n Crunch’s Oops! All 3X BIGGER MEGA Berries snack pouches – Well I guess if you like Cap’n Crunch Berry Cereals then you might like the Mega Berry Snack pouch? But with all the coloring I see in them you are bound to fart a rainbow.

NEW – POP-tarts in frosted chocolatey churro……(it doesn’t look like a chore?) naturally and artificially flavored….doesn’t sound like the best? But it is baked (unlike a real churro)

DIFFERENT – Disney MICKEY and friends (I don’t see any of the friends?) Wonder Mates plus prize milk chocolate by Frankford……….WOW what a prize!

DIFFERENT and maybe NEW – All natural KA-super grains POP! in cinnamon churro puffs…Maybe they are good?

DIFFERENT – Girl Scout Thin Mints Almonds??? I like Thin Mints and I like almonds….??? Might be good …..but if you eat too many Thin Mint Almonds your ass will get really wide.

DIFFERENT – Love Cocoa Prosecco milk chocolate bars……Might be good!

DIFFERENT (and expensive for only 3oz something bar) – Moonstruck dark chocolate bars in raspberry fennel and strawberry basil…..Don’t know if they are worth it but they would be nice as a gift…

DIFFERENT – Portabella Wild Mushroom Jerky in three unique flavors – roasted garlic black pepper, sesame ginger Korean chili, & sweet balsamic golden fig…….I can’t see myself eating a chewy mushroom…WTFork knows ….they might be good!

WEIRD – Crispy Dillies – Pickle flavored fried cucumbers. I picked this up because it was so weird…..I ate a few and they are crisp and taste very much like a pickle but have extra acid in them…I almost can’t eat them…(but I am extra sensitive to acid taste in food) They might? be good in a salad with something thick and creamy to mellow all the acid….but they are WEIRD!

DIFFERENT – KA super grains POP Red & Green Sriracha Puffs. I thought these did sound good so I bought them…..The puffs all look the same but some have too much acid in them and make my mouth hurt. I didn’t think they these puffs were awful but I would never buy them again.

NEW – Kettle Brand Krinkle Cut Truffle & Sea Salt potato chips……I was pretty excited to see this but when I saw that this bag only cost $3.49 at A.J.s I figure that they can’t afford to buy real truffles at that price………or not enough truffles to taste anything anyway.

DIFFERENT Boulder Canyon Sweet Vidalia Onion Kettle Style Potato chips does sound tasty!

DIFFERENT & WEIRD – UTZ..??? Something called Daisies that are Forking Pretzels covered in naturally and artificially birthday cake…..Daisies…WHY?…..Birthday Cake on pretzels….(ick) Someone on drugs must have thought this mess up.

DIFFERENT – Mtm Dew in Baja Blast (sort of lime-ee?) and Baja Flash ( like sort of pineapple-ee?)

DIFFERENT – Mtm Dew in another different flavor called Baja punch….now that one I’m guessing might taste like punch.

DIFFERENT and maybe NEW – Nellies free range sous vide egg bites….? One is uncured bacon and pepper jack cheese flavored…….You only get two bites for $3.99……so it makes more sense to just buy a FORKING carton of eggs so you can get at least 12 bites for like $1.50…..Just saying….

LIMITED EDITION – Van Leeuwen Kraft Macaroni & Cheese French (???French howTFork can Kraft be French?) Ice Cream. It doesn’t look like any macaroni is in the ice cream so how can this be macaroni???? I guess it is just Kraft cheese flavored?…Well they don’t sell Van Leeuwan anywhere that I know of so I guess I won’t get to try it…darn!

NEW – Miniature rockit apples…? They FORKING LOOK like crabapples to me.. Now I’m feeling crabby.

LIMITED EDITION – 99Proof adult trick or treat bag with 99proof liquors….it can be a trick? or a treat? hic……

There is always something Oreo.

DIFFERENT – Mrs. Freshley’s Delux Oreo Mini Brownies.

And there is another FORKING Oreo. The wrapping looks more exciting than the cookies………

These are regular Oreo Cookies with surprise Pokemon designs on them.

Well that was the NEW, Weird, Different, Limited and Special Edition foods out there for September 2021. Who knows WTFork I’ll come across next month.

There is always something New, Weird, Different, Limited, and Special Edition out there in the wonderful world of food. We just never know WTFork we’ll see these days.

Up above is……

DIFFERENT and maybe NEW to stores – Cheesecake Factory famous brown bread. It looks like squishy bread. I wonder if it’s made with cheese cake cheese?

DIFFERENT and maybe NEW – Egglife southwest style egg white wraps……I’m thinking that these wraps might be thin omelets in a package that they are selling as wraps?

They also come in Italian Flavored. I was going to try a pack but they were a day from expired so I moved on.

DIFFERENT – Egglife Italian egg white wraps… Look at the top of package. It no flour so isn’t this a Forking omelet? I guess nobody would buy thin omelets in a package….But any dumb bunny would buy a wrap.

NEW – Pillsbury soft baked cookies in peanut butter with chocolatey drizzle, chocolate chip, and sugar with drizzled icing. If you enjoy the pillsbury ready to bake cookie dough than hopefully you will like these cookies that are ready to eat.

NEW and possibly WEIRD – Sun-Maid Bites in P.B. & J., Birthday Cake, and S’Mores…This seems very strange to me…Raisins just don’t go into certain things….I doubt anyone really wants them in birthday cake……

DIFFERENT – Food should taste good sweet potato tortilla chips. It says best chip for any dip on the bag. Who knows…maybe it is?

DIFFERENT – WinCo Kettle cooked smoked gouda flavored potato chips with “OTHER” natural flavors. ?????Smoked gouda flavor with OTHER flavors?????? Other can be ANY FORKING THING………Old shoe, road kill, cat vomit, cow farts…….

DIFFERENT and maybe NEW – Lay’s kettle cooked potato chips in flaming hot limon flavor????? I like lemon and I like hot….????????

DIFFERENT possibly WEIRD and maybe NEW – Good Health(?) Monster Shaped Veggie Chips. They look like cartoon teeth to me.???? Whatever

DIFFERENT and WEIRD – WinCo prime rib and horseradish naturally and artificially flavored potato chips. I have a beef about that I noticed that there isn’t any beef in these chips so how can they be prime rib flavored???????

DIFFERENT – WinCo chili lime potato chips….Well at least they are natural flavored like they should be so they are worthy of a try.

NEW – Mt. Olive Pickle Salsa in mild, medium, and hot. For when you always wished that pickles and salsa were mixed together.

NEW – Mt. Olive real dill pickle juicers…..For when you simply want to be pickled…I guess…..

DIFFERENT and maybe NEW – Post DUNKIN cereal in caramel macchiato made with DUNKIN Coffee……..It sounds like a beverage that is not for kids……Don’t know if many adults will buy this????

DIFFERENT and maybe NEW – Post DUNKIN mocha latte cereal made with DUNKIN coffee. Maybe this is an alternate buzz????? I would never eat this…

NEW and possibly LIMITED EDITION – Kellogg’s Together with Pride Cereal……??????????? This can have so many meanings…….

DIFFERENT and maybe NEW – General Mills cinnamon toast chocolate churros cereal. This one sounds tasty but the churro cartoon guys look more like macaronis.

NEW or is it OLD??????…General Mills Golden Grahams but of the Retro Recipe made with real honey….I’d be afraid to eat this. It might be cereal leftover from the 80’s or the 70’s that they dug up and decided to sell as retro.

LIMITED EDITION – General Mills Chocolate/Strawberry Cheerios. This one sounded delicious until I read the box that reads…….with “OTHER” natural flavors….That can be very scary. Other natural flavors could be nasty….

NEW – Duke’s Mayonnaise in Habanero Garlic, Fire Roasted Red Pepper, Cucumber Dill, and Bacon and Tomato………I FORKING Know that these sauces are mayonnaise based but when they add all those flavors to the mayonnaise it isn’t really mayonnaise anymore and is either dip or a dressing…….Isn’t it?

NEW – Sun Maid pure milk chocolate and peanut nutter covered raisins???? Might be good? Sounds better than birthday cake flavored …….any who-

NEW – Jet Puffed Bites – Marshmallows covered in sprinkles as Birthday cake, Chocolate covered and Chocolate mint covered…50/50……Might be good?

NEW Limited Time Only Available at Safeway…..Rockin Nut Road M&M’s…….My husband picked them up for me……….They taste sort of like peanut M&M’s that are an off batch…..Very similar but with an added OFF taste. My husband won’t eat them so I have to toss the bag out.

LIMITED EDITION – KitKat in fruity cereal flavor…..IDK? Some KitKats are good and some are not good…..I think if I wanted FORKING Fruity Cereal…I’d eat cereal and not a fruity cereal flavored KitKat….Well that’s just me….You might differ.

NEW – Drizzilicious – S’Mores mini rice cakes with dark chocolate drizzle….might be good! I bought the other flavor and it was good!

NEW – Drizzilicious – mini rice cakes with cinnamon swirl white chocolate drizzle…These surprised me….They really are good and only 90 calories for almost half the bag or 21 mini rice cakes.

DIFFERENT and possibly NEW – Ben & Jerry’s Justice Remix’d ice cream. It’s Cinnamon and chocolate ice creams with cinnamon bun dough and spicy fudge brownies. I think this ice cream would be so much better if they mixed in fresh baked cinnamon buns instead of raw cinnamon bun dough. I think raw cinnamon bun dough sounds HORRIBLE….LISTEN WORLD !!!!!! NOBODY FORKING EATS RAW CINNAMON BUN DOUGH. Someone must have been on drugs to think up this flavor.

There is always a New or Limited Edition Oreo Cookie.

LIMITED EDITION – Nabisco Oreo Cookies with THREE layers of cream AND popping candy…..so you can do banging farts that come out striped.

LIMITED EDITION – NBA Dy-Nasty….opps..my bad…….I mean Dynasty Oreos. Same old flavor. They just look different.

My Forking Thoughts on Universal Yums – Turkey 2021

Universal Yums is a gift or subscription service for a box of international snacks. You have a few different size choices.

I get the basic Yum Box and it comes with a booklet of facts, trivia, a recipe and information about my snacks.

Lets try a snack.

Ummmm…Now these are tasty! They are little cookies filled with a chocolaty filling that is laced with a small amount of hazelnut and tahini. These are tasty…Now they are gone.

We got a Yum bag with Mastic Toffees and Melon and Lime Chews.

Oh joy……..(not really)…Turkish sour watermelon gummies. I just don’t do gummies and ESPECIALLY Don’t FORKING do sour gummies. But I will ask my husband to eat one.

Next is a coconut & coffee snowball cake.

I like coconut but never liked coffee so far. I thought maybe I haven’t had good coffee yet and that is why I don’t like coffee? I tried two bites. I think I would like this if I liked coffee. The cake is moist with a nice texture and the exterior is very unique. The center cream isn’t terrible. I would like this if I liked coffee, Coffee just taste like bitter coffee grinds to me……

Next……

Baharat spiced cracker chips in taco flavor…??? They are odd to us….They are very powdery chippy crackers……..The powder texture sort of bothers me more than the odd flavors….They are very salty, they are onion-ee, there is sweetness to them, They finish very sweet….They sort of stick to my teeth.

Only two treats left….

Here’s tahini halva…..Not bad…It seems like light fluffy frosting that taste like sesame seeds instead of something too sweet.

Last treat

These are just plain chickpeas that are salted. These are GOOD! The texture doesn’t break my teeth like most bagged chickpea snacks. These you can actually eat in salad and do have a nice natural chickpea flavor. These I would buy if I saw in the store.

My Forking Thoughts on Lay’s Spanish Tomato Tango Potato Chips

I picked up this bag of Lay’s Spanish Tomato Tango Potato chips from the Asiana Market in the Deer Valley part of Phoenix. These chips are from India…..I thought they’d be from Spain since it reads Spanish on the bag. Well Spanish sounds good so lets give this bag a try.

It’s a very small bag of chips and it only weighs around 2 ounces.

Here’s the back of the bag.

Here’s the ingredients.

I’m so glad that they used edible vegetable oil instead of inedible vegetable oil. I see that some flavors are natural and other flavors are identical flavoring substances…LOL!

I open the bag and take a whiff.

Gosh these chips smell really strange…

I smell sweet. I smell fried. I slightly smell cinnamon and a lot I can’t identify….Lets spilll some out.

The chips have ridges and are covered in an orange powder.

I taste one…..

It’s very strange.

It’s sour and sweet with other flavors that are laced with clove.

The sour is very strange….It’s not a normal sour like lemon or vinegar ……it’s more like tomato sauce that isn’t made right. Like when you don’t cook tomatoes enough or when you cook them too much and they start to ferment. Then you taste sugar like they attempted to fix the tomato sauce. I also taste the black pepper…..There are other flavors but they are overpowered by the clove that is really gross here.

Lay’s Spanish Tomato Tango Potato Chips is one of my all time least favorite flavors that I have ever tried.

There is always something New Weird Different Limited or Special Edition out there in the wonderful world of food. You just never know WTFork you will see out there.

Up above is-

WEIRD & DIFFERENT – Tibits Birthday Cake Macaroons. Well I never thought I’d ever come across Birthday Cake macaroons. But are they birthday CAKE if they are macaroons? Aren’t they really just macaroons with added sprinkles (some people call them Jimmies and somebody I used to work with told me they are also called twinkle coat…..I have to say twinkle coat does sound stylish) Go FORKING stick a candle in that!

NEW – Whozeewhatzit??????? It says it’s chocolate with chocolatey crisps and peanut butter…,Might be good. Might suck? Have to try it to know. Weird name for a candy bar. I don’t see a manufacturer name either..????? Guess it’s made by WhoZeeWhatzit?

NEW – Reese’s Ultimate Peanut Butter Lovers Peanut butter cups…..Ummm? Now these I am going to try when I find them ????

NEW and maybe LIMITED EDITION – Reese’s mallow top marshmallow flavored creme topped peanut butter cups……These I tried. Someone is on crack if they think that there is any marshmallow creme here….It doesn’t taste bad but it is just cheap very sweet white coating over the cup.

DIFFERENT and maybe NEW – Trader Joe’s Crispy Peanut Butter filled chocolate peanuts. Oh yes I did and these are pretty darn good……you can go NUTS for them….Sorry I didn’t buy a second bag.

WEIRD – Maud Borup Top of the box reads hello sunshine. In the box is solid white chocolate that looks like a bloody egg (see the FORKING blood?), bacon and burnt toast…….Now that is weird……This as a sandwich is a diabetes sandwich in a box.

NEW (and maybe WEIRD) – Kellogg’s Eggo Blueberry Waffle Cereal. It’s all fun and game till some dumb smuck tosses this waffle cereal into the toaster.

NEW – Kellogg’s Froot Loops with Marshmallows….There are lots of marshmallows these days. This cereal is so colorful I beet it makes you poop a rainbow.

NEW – Quaker Life Cereal in Chocolate…I wonder how Mikey feels about it?

DIFFERENT – Osem brand Bissli Falafel flavored wheat snacks. I did try these because it came in a small bag and I like falafels. These are not shaped like falafels and are shaped like rabbit pellets. The shape is odd and they are very crisp and do taste like falafels….Not bad but a very weird shape and awkward to eat. Maybe they get sprinkled on humus or salads?

DIFFERENT – Agustson Black Seaweed Caviar. ????? Who knew that seaweed lays black eggs?…..Might be good?

DIFFERENT – Field Trip Chickpea Butter in plain, cinnamon and chocolate…..different

DIFFERENT and maybe Weird – The Good Bean Chocolate covered chickpeas….???? I would rather have a chocolate covered peanut, mint, cherry or even a chocolate covered pretzel than a chocolate covered chickpea.

DIFFERENT – Wowza artificially flavored popcorn bar in caramel sea salt. I never heard of artificially flavored caramel…….I don’t wonder what that taste like.

And now for something healthier.

DIFFERENT – Don’t come by whole winter Mellons often.

DIFFERENT – Goya wafers in coconut, guava, mango, pineapple and strawberry. They sound delicious but don’t know.

DIFFERENT – Badia instant purple potatoes. Fresh potatoes are usually better than instant so I’d pass on this one.

DIFFERENT – Lay’s Cheddar Jalapeno flavored potato chips. They sound good but ingredients reads that they are full of buttermilk???????? WTFork?

NEW ( and taste WEIRD) – Lay’s Extra Crunch Kettle Cooked Honey Habanero. These have all kinds of ingredients in them. Blue cheese, sour cream, corn, yeast butter….I think someone was on drugs when they make up the recipe for this……

DIFFERENT – Wawel 70% cocoa with orange bar made in Poland marked Halal and kosher – Sounds delicious!

NEW and DIFFERENT- David Energy-Packed Mix of ranch flavored lentils, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, chickpeas…….??????????

DIFFERENT – Surati Peanut bhujiya – It reads spicy peanuts with spices. Might be delicious?

DIFFERENT – Surati All in one snack mix. Rice & corn flakes, chickpeas, beans, nuts and spices…..Might be good?

And there is always a new Forking Oreo.

NEW – gluten free Oreo Cookies

Universal Yums is a international snack box gift box or subscription service. You have a choice of a few different size boxes.

They all come with snacks and a booklet with games, trivia and a recipe.

This month the snacks are from Spain. My expectations were pretty high because Spain is well known for having amazing foods and astonishing canned fish. (I was hoping for some really great canned fish)

I got a squashed cake. The cake is soft and the filling is very paste-tee……

Next are spicy mango gummies. They smell sort of like mango. They are not spicy. Not a favorite. It’s like gummy whipped taffy with a weird flavor.

These smell awful. They smell just like when you walk by an old fryer with old oil. They are suppose to be bacon and cheese flavored bugle shaped corn snacks. But they don’t have bacon or any cheese in them. Won’t get fat eating these….

This month I got a Yum Bag….Usually we get a Yum Bag but last month I didn’t. the top candies are Spanish Chocolate Toffee. They are soft like Tootsie Rolls…After a few chews all the chocolate flavor disappears and it’s like edible plastic. The pistachio candies on the lower end of the Yum bag are suppose to be soft and rich?….I think I got defective candies because mine are hard and are strong enough to pull my teeth out. It taste like the flavor is sprayed on. After about a second you don’t need the candy anymore.

Next are little sugar coated caramels……..They taste good but do have a slightly artificial finish……

Last snack

Lemon pepper potato chips……They smell like normal potato chips…..They are nice and crisp in texture. For me they are too acidic….I can’t eat them but my husband can…Bah they were almost good with a nice potato flavor.

Those were my thoughts on Universal Yums Spain 2021 Your opinion may differ!

Besides snacks your box comes with a booklet that includes some facts, trivia and a recipe.

I don’t know why but my box is marked reject.

That’s just dandy. WHATEVER

Lets try our first snack.

It’s puffed rice with a thin coat of waxy chocolate. It’s much lighter in texture than the Asian puffed rice bars. I think it might have ground rice powder in it with the texture of almost angel cake holding it together. I like the center of this bar with the ultra light texture. It ALMOST seems like the rice is suspended in angel cake but it isn’t…just taste that way.

Next

They smell tangy……They taste better than they smell…..Sort of like a ketchup taste…..Not awful (“PHEW”) but not something that I would buy.

Next we try the onion rings.

They smell just like onion powder. They have the same texture as softer lighter cheese curls but don’t taste like cheese curls. They taste onion flavored. Light oniony rings…they are ok.

Now we will go for something sweet.

Here are cinnamon almond cream wafers.

They are cinnamon-ee…kinda almond-ee………They remind me of other wafer snacks from all over the world. I think every country out there makes some sort of wafer snack.

Here is premium white chocolate with strawberry rhubarb crumble. I think this is pretty good. It taste like lots of strawberry in a cream……maybe the sour finish is the rhubarb? I think that this was the best of the box.

I saved this for last because I’m not a big fan of marzipan.

Well it’s a stick of marzipan. It’s covered in dark chocolate that isn’t too bad.

NEW WEirD DiFFeRenT Limited and Special Edition Foods Out There March 2021

There is ALWAYS something that is NEW! – WEIRD! – Different, limited or special edition out there in the wonderful world of food. You just never know WTFork you might come across. Here are a few of the New, Weird, Different, Limited and Special Edition Foods that I came across recently.

Up above is……

NEW – Mini Kit Kat Ice Cream Bars…….They sound yummy….But they don’t look so yummy…….The wafer is all little Broken pieces in the chocolate………….but I might give them a try sometime??????

NEW – Nestle Toll House MINI vanilla chocolate chip ice cream sandwich cookies….IDK 310 calories is pretty steep for a mini ice cream sandwich??????? I wonder how fattening the Kit Kat Ice creams are?

NEW – Jeni’s Everything Bagel Ice Cream …..????? It reads cream cheese ice cream with everything bagel seasoning. ?????….Just go all the way and add some lox, red onions and capers to the mix. Let’s see how the FORK that taste!

DIFFERENT – Maybe NEW? – Cerreta’s Picosas Hot Peanut Jalapeño Brittle. Sounds tasty….Was looking for a single piece to buy from the display in my super market but they weren’t marked so I didn’t try any today…Maybe next time.

NEW – Snickers in Peanut Brownie Squares……These I tried (unfortunately) Not Good…Doesn’t taste like a brownie either…..It’s just brown paste……with a little goo covered with waxy coating…YUCK! AWFUL and WTFork They lack the FORKING Peanuts. DISAPPOINTING! and GROSS! ICK!

NEW Mrs. Freshley’s Reese’s peanut flavored cup cakes and Hershey’s triple chocolate cakes. Could go either way?

NEW – Pepperidge Farms Goldfish Veggie Crackers in Sweet Carrot Flavor………Ok so they might be a little healthier than regular Goldfish crackers….I would call them NEW and IMPROVED.

DIFFERENT and maybe NEW – Rhythm organic cauliflower bites. I bought this. It’s fried in a special way with little oil. They don’t taste fried…..but they have this really light nice crisp texture. They seem almost like freeze dried but sort of tasty…..but a little too salty…..I think I’ll try them in a salad.

DIFFERENT and maybe WEIRD? Nature’sintent Caulicups made with cauliflower, zucchini and carrot…..?????? It looks like a very small portion of food…Just Forking go out and buy a few vegetables, shred them up and FORKING microwave it yourself.

NEW – Kellogg’s Tiger Paw snacks…..No mention of flavor…I don’t know what these are?

NEW – Post Fruity Pebbles Ice Cream and Cocoa Pebbles Ice Cream. Yabba Dabba Don’t (unless you want soggy pebbles) This is for people who are too lazy to pour a box of cereal into their ice cream.

DIFFERENT and NEW – NEW Kettle Farmstand Ranch potato chips and Korean BBQ potato chips……Think I tried the Korean BBQ ones a while back and they just didn’t do it for me….Don’t know how the Farmstand ranch are?

WEIRD – WILDE Chicken Breast Chips in Nashville Hot Chicken and Chicken and Waffles Flavors…..Chicken chips seem weird to me………They MIGHT be good? I was going to try a bag but put it back when I saw how few chips were in the bag…They look big in my photo but they are very few chips in each bag for $5.99.

NEW – Pesi-Cola in COCOA Cola flavor…that is confusing….Pesi-Cola that is COCOA Cola flavored……A chocolatey Pepsi might make a good soda float.

LIMITED EDITION – Frankford Oreo Cookies and Cream White Easter Bunny Candy…..some people might like this….if you like a lot of fatty wax with artificially flavored crumbs in it…but shaped like a cute bunny.

There is usually a new Forking Oreo Cookie.

NEW – Java Chip flavor creme. They are naturally and artificially flavored WITH chocolate chips! (Oh boy what a treat…(gag) )

NEW Artificially Flavored Chocolate Hazelnut Oreo Cookies…..But at least they always use real cocoa.

Oh my and what did we do?????? To deserve this?

LIMITED EDITION Strawberry Frosted Donut Oreo Cookies with ARTIFICIAL FLAVOR and edible glitter…..so your farts dazzle from glitter.

Well that was the NEW, WEIRD, DIFFERENT, Limited and Special Edition Foods out there for March 2021. Who knows WTFork I’ll come across next month.

My Forking Thoughts on Surati Cheddar Jalapeño flavored Potato Tubes

I found some different foreign snacks from Asiana Market in the Deer Valley part of Phoenix Arizona. Here are Surati Cheddar Jalapeño flavored potato tubes. I found them in the India aisle but this snack is from Canada.

The front of the bag is marked suitable for vegetarians.

The ingredients are a mix of mostly natural and some chemical.

I open the bag and take a sniff.

It smells sort of cheesy and I do also smell chili powder.

I spill some out.

They are shaped sort of like French Fries but with. slightly hollow centers. They are dusted with seasonings.

I taste one.

It’s very spicy but it doesn’t burn with a natural cheesy flavor. It’s actually very tasty but the texture is unlike anything I ever tried before. It’s ultra light and airy. It’s so darn light and airy it would be easy to woof down this 3 1/2 ounce bag.

I might buy them again.

Worth a try if you can do spicy.
