Dining out with DOGS in Las Vegas NV March 2025

Dining Out With DOGS is just a “FLUFF” story about taking my dogs out to eat. It all sort of started with my late dog Louie. Dear Old Louie always enjoyed going out to eat. When Louie got elderly he got diagnosed with aggressive cancer. We were told that Louie probably only had three months to live or maybe six at the most. Since Louie couldn’t do a lot but still enjoyed going out to eat I took him out to eat as often as I could. Instead of the 3-6 months Louie made it another 17 months. Today I take my current dogs out to eat when the weather is right and when I can.

The Weather is just turning nice here and we took the dogs to SNS Diner BBQ. If they seem familiar to you then maybe you saw them on Food Network’s Diners Drive-ins and Dives TV Show.

The dogs enjoyed some of my husband’s Philly Brisket Sandwich.

They also got to eat some of my (made in house) Pastrami Sandwich.

Dogs happen to love pastrami.

They always love SNS Diner BBQ

We also took the dogs to the California Fish Grill.

They ate some of my husband’s Cajun Maui Maui.

Some of his Shrimp Skewer

Some Parmesan Green Beans

and Some of my Mediterranean Branzino Bowl

He is eating some fish here.

The dogs enjoyed three kinds of fish, parmesan green beans, and zucchini today from The California Fish Grill.

We also did take out from Hawaiian Barbecue. They happen to have a community patio only two doors down. My husband got a #4 Bento Box. All the proteins are terribly dry today.

Same with this coconut chicken…..BAH……but these dogs don’t mind.

“This chicken is stringy and dry today. Some pieces areas hard as rocks”

“I got nice big fangs” I can bite threw anything”

It almost was too cold again but we made it to The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill because their patio faces the sun. We usually get salad rice bowls. I got mine with salmon and my husband got his with gyro meat. Got lucky and the salmon was cooked really perfect today….The gyro was on the dry side but it usually is sort of dry.

The dogs get to eat chickpeas, cucumbers, salmon, and gyro meat.

We did A-OK at The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill.

Dining In and Out with DOGS in Las Vegas NV February 2025

Dining Out With DOGS is just a “Fluff” story about taking my dogs out to eat. It all sort of started with my late dog Louie. He loved to go out and eat. When he got elderly he came down with aggressive cancer. We were told he probably only had three months to live but might make it up to six months. Since he loved going out to eat I took Louie out as often as I could and Louie made it SEVENTEEN more months. I take my current dogs out when the weather is right and when I can.

This week it was too cold to dine out with dogs so we just took them on a car ride to Burger King and they ate the burger at home.

My Giant Aussie/Cattledog knocked my smaller dog out of his seat so she could look into the drive thru window. Then we go home and the dogs eat some cheeseburger.

They always enjoy cheeseburgers.

The next week it is starting to warm up so we took the dogs to dine at Market Grill Cafe.

They have a DOG MENU.

The dogs split one doggie Steak and Rice. (after photo we cut up the steak chunks for them).

They also got to try some of my husband’s lasagna.

and some chicken from my chicken gyro salad.

They loved dining at Market Grill Cafe.

It was maybe slightly too cold but we dined out anyway at Those Guys Pies. If they seem familiar to you then you might have seen them on Food Network’s Diners, Drive Inns and Dives. They specialize in pizzas and cheesesteaks. They have a dog friendly patio and inside is a Craft Dog Biscuit Vending Machine so we started the dogs off with Beef Craft Dog Biscuits.

I had the Lakeside Salad with Chicken and my husband had a Cheesesteak. The dogs had a good amount of chicken and some Cheesesteak.

The dogs were happy to eat chicken.

They always enjoy Those Guys Pies.

I was expecting a warm up but it was darn cold again for Las Vegas so it was In-N-Out Burger again. It was too cold to sit out a while so we fed them kinda quick on the patio.

The dogs enjoyed the car ride. They also enjoyed looking in the window watching production.

But they enjoyed eating more.

This week we went to Hawaiian Barbecue #1. That’s enormous amounts of food with usually rice and macaroni salad in Styrofoam containers.

My husband had the #4 Bento and shared some of it with the dogs.

Me and the dogs shared the mini (but it’s not so mini) Mochiko Chicken.

She is so happy to get this food!

This week I would not have dined out with dogs if I knew how cold and windy it got going to be only 15 minutes away from my house but we dined at Mezzo anyway.

They started us out with complimentary bread and oil that was embellished with balsamic and lemon.

I share just a small amount of the bread with the dogs.

My husband shared some of his sausage with the dogs from his sausage and rigatoni plate.

The dogs also got some salmon from my blackened salmon with squash plate.

I was very careful to give them fish without balsamic on it because all vinegars are harmful to dogs.

We all enjoyed ourselves at Mezzo Bistro & Wine.

About to enjoy more salmon.

The Dogs always enjoy an In-N-Out double cheeseburger.

It was almost too cold again the following week but we dined out anyway at Mezzo Bistro and Wine. It’s an Italian Restaurant with a nice dog friendly patio.

The dogs got to eat some chicken from my beet salad.

They also got to eat sausage, pasta, and cheese from my husband’s plate.

Dining In and Out With Dogs in Las Vegas NV October 2024

Dining With Dogs is just a “FLUFF” story about taking my dogs out to eat. It all sort of started with my late dog Louie. He was a very social dog and loved everyone. He also loved going out to eat. When he got elderly he came down with aggressive cancer and was only expected to live 3-6 months. I thought the nicest thing I could do for Louie was to take him out to eat as often as possible. Instead of the 3-6 months Louie made it another 17 months. Today I take my current dogs out when the weather is right and when I can.

The earth is warming and we have had record breaking heat in Las Vegas. At 10:30 it is borderline hot so the dogs got to go to our local In-N-Out Burger.

Here they are at the drive thru.

We fed them some Cheeseburger on the patio.

They always enjoy In-N-Out Cheeseburgers.

The next week it was hot again so we took the dogs to Five Guys and they got a take out burger bowl from there.

They enjoyed the car ride and they look like they are about to enjoy the cheeseburger.

Time to try some.

They always enjoy a Five Guys Cheeseburger.

I thought it was going to be cool the next week. Instead it was another record breaker in Las Vegas…..Oh well…. Off to In-N-Out for a quick cheeseburger. Since they open at 10:30am and have a shaded patio we can give the dogs cheeseburger on the patio before it hits 90 degrees.

The Giant Aussie/Cattledog felt the need to push the Beagle/Chihuahua out of his seat so SHE could watch their cheeseburger get prepared.

Who wants some cheeseburger?

They always enjoy In-N-Out Cheeseburgers.

The Dogs finally got to dine out at SNS Diner BBQ. If this place seems familiar to you then perhaps you saw this place on Diners Drive Ins and Dives on Food Network.

The 1/2 chicken was very good here and the dogs got to enjoy some of it.

They also got to enjoy some of my husband’s Brisket Philly Sandwich.

We all enjoyed our trip to SNS Diner BBQ.

Dining Out and In With DOGS In Las Vegas NV September 2024

Around the beginning of the month it finally started to get cooler in Vegas so we were able to Dine Out With Dogs. Dining Out With Dogs sort of started with my late dog Louie. Good Old Louie always enjoyed going out to eat. When he got diagnosed with aggressive cancer I took him out as often as I could and instead of the 3-6 months they thought he had Good Old Louie made it another 17 months. Today I take my current dogs out to eat when the weather is right and when I can.

We made it to the #1 Hawaiian Barbecue. They don’t have their own patio but only two doors down is a community patio.

I got….I mean we got the maui maui healthier plate (salad & brown rice makes this healthier than white rice and macaroni salad)

My husband (and dogs) got some of the spicy chicken plate.

Gotta feed the dogs some fish.

Mine also came with a hard boiled egg so I shared that with the dogs too!

Who knew the next week would be too hot to dine out with dogs?….So we brought them back a Five Guys Cheeseburger.

They would rather dine out but they always enjoy a Five Guys Cheeseburger.

The next week it was hot again so the dogs went for a ride to the In-N-Out Drive Thru.

Here’s their cheeseburger.

They get to eat the meat & cheese.

They always enjoy In-N-Out Cheeseburgers.

The following it was borderline cool enough to dine out. We tried to dine at SNS Diner BBQ. But they were having some sort of meltdown that day. We’ll try them again in the near future.

We did get to make it out to Those Guys Pies in North Las Vegas. They specialize in Pizzas and Cheesesteaks. If they seem familiar to you it’s because you might have seen them on Food Network’s Diners Drive Ins and Dives. They love dogs here and have a craft dog biscuit vending machine inside. Today they enjoyed some craft chicken dog biscuits.

They also enjoyed chicken from my Lakeside Salad.

They also got to enjoy some cheesesteak.

Dining IN With DOGS Las Vegas NV August 2024

We try to take the dogs out to eat at least once a week but it has been too hot outside to dine out with dogs in Las Vegas so we are dining in. This is a combination of dining in with dogs and taking them for a ride to get a cheeseburger.

We took the dogs to a Jack In The Box and brought the burger home.

They get to eat about 1/3 of the burger without bread as a treat today and the rest over the next two days.

The dogs never refuse a cheeseburger!

The dogs also got to eat Thai Food from Amazing Thai in North Las Vegas.

They enjoyed Chicken Spicy Basil and Salmon Panang.

Then from Born and Raised Sports Bar in North Las Vegas the dogs enjoyed part of a Texas Burger.

and chicken from their signature salad.

Today the dogs got a cheeseburger from Five Guys.

Today we took the dogs to the In-N-Out to bring home a cheeseburger for them. They know the cheeseburger is coming from someplace inside.

Now at home they get to eat some.

We took out a cheesesteak WITHOUT onions (because onions are toxic to dogs) for the dogs from Those Guys Pies. We just give them some meat and cheese.

That was dining in with dogs for August 2024. We hope that you’ve enjoyed and we hope to see you next month.

Dining IN with DOGS July 2024 – Dogs Eating Cheeseburgers

I try to take my dogs out to eat at least once a week. It’s good for them. They enjoy going out. But it’s only safe to do when the weather is right. Lately it’s been too hot to dine out with dogs so we take them for a car ride and pick something up for them.

Today we took a car ride to Carl’s Jr.

The Giant Aussie/Cattledog just shoved the Beagle/Chihuahua out of his seat so she could watch the people working at Carl’s.

Look at her face she looks like she is watching television.

Here is their burger.

Onions and bread are removed. The dogs eat a quarter of the burger once a day as a treat.

The dogs always enjoy dining out but also always enjoy a Carl’s Jr Cheeseburger.

Then we took them out to In-N-Out Burger.

They always enjoy a cheeseburger from In-N-Out.

The next week was boiling hot again so the dogs went to In-N-Out Burger again. They seem very interested with the In-N-Out action.

At home they get to eat about 1/3 third of the cheeseburger as a treat for the next two days minus most of the bread.

They always enjoy eating cheeseburgers.

We also did take out from Lino’s Italian.

We took out a couple pizzas and a CHEESEBURGER for the dogs….

Lino’s Special Pizza MINUS the green pepper and onion.

Dog with spinach pizza

other dog with spinach pizza…

You know how it goes.

Dogs always love cheeseburgers

Squeeze Cheese, Chicken Liver & Peanut Butter are helpful to give Medication to difficult Dogs

One of my dogs is older and is now on a lot of medications. This dog is difficult to give medication too. She even spits out pill pockets. She even spits out pill pockets without medication in them. When my last dog Louie was elderly and on lots of medications he was good with special doggy safe meatballs I used to make for him to hide pills. My current dog figured out that pills are inside the meatball so meatballs don’t work for her. The last few weeks chicken liver, squeeze cheese, and peanut butter are the only things that she will take pills in.

Here’s the squeeze cheese.

Squirt a small amount on your palm and insert pill.

Now squirt a little more to hide the pill.

Offer to dog.

Dog takes medication.

Then the slightly bigger pills I try to incase in Chicken Liver (just dump chicken livers from container into a baking dish in a preheated 350 degree F oven for around 30 minutes…you can season sparingly with a very small amount of sea salt and a very small amount of pepper)

Then I use squeeze cheese to coat the pill.

For bigger pills I use peanut butter.

I wrap the peanut butter around the pill and then offer to my patient.

Chicken Liver, Squeeze Cheese, and Peanut Butter are Helpful to give Medications to difficult dogs.
