I noticed these Limited Edition Hershey Strawberry Ice Cream Cone Kisses at my local Safeway Supermarket. I hesitated …….should I….or shouldn’t I?……..As a Youngster I used to like Good Humor Strawberry Shortcake Ice Cream Bars…..So I was hoping that these Hershey’s Strawberry Ice Cream Cone Kisses might taste similar…….????? Well lets see…..
Eeek! They are flesh colored with little red rashes.
I try it and it is gross. WTFork is this? Not sure if I can finish……..
It just taste very artificial ……Doesn’t taste comparable to anything.
As it’s melting I got a crunchy lump. The crunchy lump is ok….It’s sort of cookie like in taste……
But The kiss is still there and terrible. My tongue is burning from it….YUK!
Now I got a weird aftertaste…..It’s something like hops from beer…ICK…GROSS!
On the bright side I won’t be getting fat from them.
I can not recommend them…..Actually I am surprised that they can pass a taste test from Hershey’s…..
Those were my FORKING Thoughts on Limited Edition Hershey’s Strawberry Ice Cream Cone Kisses but I also must note that YOUR FORKING opinion may indeed differ.
So far 2022 has been a better year than most for Metro Phoenix Foods…..Not too many HORRIBLE FRIGHTFUL dishes….But there were a few. I very recently wrote about the next two dishes so if you read my blog then you know where these dishes came from. It’s not my intention to make trouble for any business………(even if they deserve it)…. I tell The Forking Truth….so I mention how my meal was once with the name of the business and once is enough……But these stories and most of the photos are Horrible and Frightful. Halloween time is just that perfect time to share these memories.
Overcooked macaroni and dried up cheese that never was good.
Burnt dried out fish with almost brunt oil filled eggplant.
After this are oldies but NOT goodies.
This was from a fine restaurant in the Biltmore area that is still in business. I do note that the chef that they had at the time left several years ago….By the looks of the polenta on the plate it seems like he might have been pissed off about something.
A certain restaurant on the west side served me a dessert with a hard glob of silicon in it that I had to spit out.
This next one might be the worst thing I ever got from a food truck. It made me scream and I had to spit it out.
It was suppose to be a corned beef egg roll from a food truck that specialized in corned beef. It was dry and awful inside but I still remember that the worst part was the egg roll because it tasted rancid.
Someone in metro Phoenix served me this sandwich.
They are still in business….
Sometimes you go to a restaurant that was very good for several visits………. Then when you eat the food you find out that the chef is no longer with them.
This restaurant closed shorty after I got this horrid dish. It was fishy salmon topped with raw tomato paste flanked by a splat of pureed corn and another splat of corn grits.
I went to a BBQ Restaurant in Phoenix that is still in Business. They served me grits that weren’t cooked.
They also served us meat that was under and still had hard fat on it.
I remember we said something about this but nobody said or did a thing.
A restaurant that is still in business in Peoria served my husband this sandwich.
At the time that restaurant recently changed ownership….It was not great but ok before this……………
It looks like a cinnamon bun but it’s not……….My husband was served a burnt roll somewhere.
This is the worst bulgogi I ever tried……It’s like they threw it in a blender and added cream cheese. It’s like throw up on a skillet.
This Thai Restaurant in Peoria thinks that it’s ok to call a dish fish and serve it without the meat.
I never went back.
This was from a Taco Restaurant that went out of business.
Dry flavorless chicken that might have been microwaved to hard and chewy with some pickled onions and a tortilla that fell apart before it arrived.
This place is still in business in Sun City.
The fish is fishy. The vegetables are obviously from frozen and boiled……I don’t know what happened to the mashed potato. I asked the server why it was green….She didn’t know and asked the chef. She said that he said, “Black pepper turns the potatoes green.”
Maybe my worst Metro Phoenix Restaurant foods came from an Asian Restaurant that I enjoyed on my first visit. I enjoyed the live seafood that was reasonably priced…..So I came back for a second visit….(unfortunately).
We started with some shiitake mushrooms with Asian Greens. They look good BUT….

The sauce is HORRIFYING……Maybe it is suppose to be that way but I can’t stomach a sauce with the consistency of snot……I couldn’t eat this…..Sadly our main dish was worst.
On this visit I didn’t notice the live fish tanks???????? But ordered the rockfish anyway..This was like a fake fish that was impossible to eat….Like solid rubber and tough. I was going to say something to the owner….But my husband said that all was ok so the owner left.
The server didn’t even question on why we didn’t eat the fish and didn’t even ask if we wanted to bring it or the vegetables home……
Then the scary part is that we got a bill for over a hundred dollars for those two plates (We found out they charged $89. for that fish).
These were only a few of the HORRIBLE FRIGHTFUL Foods that was served to me in Metro Phoenix AZ.
There is AWAYS something new, weird, limited, and special edition out there in the wonderful world of food. We never know WTFork we’ll come across when we shop for food.

LIMITED EDITION and DIFFERENT (see Limited Edition in the upper right corner) – Frieda’s Angelcots…..I know fruit and vegetables are seasonal but it is always weird to see them marked limited edition. These are a different variety of apricots. Might be heavenly…or maybe they are devilishly wrong?
WEIRD – Unicorn Confetti – cake batter cookies………..I prefer my cookies to taste like cookies…..I make cake batter when I make cakes……Cookie batter and cake batter are not interchangeable………So the cookies are WEIRD……Also why are sprinkles (Jimmies and also known as twinkle coat) called unicorn confetti now……?……Is that a nice way of calling those things unicorn poop?
DIFFERENT and also WEIRD – Cap’n Crunch’s OOPS! 3X All MEGA Bigger Berries…….Maybe?…. someone screwed up at the factory and created something that they have to sell as a snack.
DIFFERENT & kinda WEIRD – General Mills Cocoa Puffs instant artificially flavored and with other natural flavors (?????) Oatmeal with crunchy topping. Gosh this one is weird in too many ways. Artificial and other natural flavors (what on earth can they be?????) Oatmeal isn’t puffs……I bet the topping is just crumbs of Cocoa Puffs cereal that usually is thrown out……
WEIRD – Nickelodeon Slime Kellogg’s Green Apple Jacks with red scary looking apples on the box????? Made with natural…….and OTHER (OTHER NATURAL?????…what could that be????? Lizard snot??) natural flavors that make your milk turn GREEN! No wonder why there are so many whack jobs in the world. This stuff is the food (and chemicals) that turns people into crazy lunatics.
EVEN WEIRDER – Kellogg’s AppleJacks with Spooky Marshmallows. That box is horrifying. How can anyone buy that for children. Just looking at it gives me the creeps.
LIMITED EDITION – General Mills Lucky Charms with Magic Gems…….OH Lordy it’s just another cunning way to sell the same cereal with more marshmallows…….
Same Old Stuff MOSTLY- but WEIRD – Kellogg’s Special K Original with toasted grains and an old goat on the package…….BAHHHHHHHH Bahhhh
Same Old Stuff but also kind of WEIRD – Kellogg’s Special K with Red Berries that are really strawberries……and another old goat on the package. This just seems weird and creepy.
WEIRD – Kellogg’s Special K Flakes & Almonds that are chocolate dipped that are flavored naturally and other natural? flavors added…………This is weird because cereal is suppose to be a healthy food. The chocolate coating turns it into dessert….(might be good? in ice cream). This is also WEIRD because it not only has natural flavors but also has added OTHER natural flavors….My gosh what can those OTHER natural flavors be? Cockroaches? spider spit? canned armadillo farts?
WEIRD – General Mills – LOL Surprise Cereal….WTFork is this?….Surprise it’s cereal? Looks like it has those mandatory marshmallows like many of the child’s theme cereals have. No wonder why so many kids grow up to be assassins these days.
NEW – Pop Farts – Oh no my bad I guess I need bifocals…..POP-Tarts ARTIFICIALLY Flavored Peach Cobbler and on side of box it reads proudly baked in the USA. How could that be? They should lie and blame it on someone else. I guess this is a box of Pop-Farts.
DIFFERENT – DJ * BBQ Br Bohemian RUBSODY all-purpose seasoning. Cute name for a spice blend but weird scary looking label. The guy is screaming or looks like he is in pain…..????? Or maybe he just tasted the stuff and it must suck a lot?
NEW – Heinz Black Truffle infused honey and Hot Chili infused honey…….Sounds SWEET to me!
NEW – Heinz mandarin orange miso crunch, chili pepper crunch. and roasted garlic crunch……..Chile Crunch is this amazing condiment that adds flavors, textures and heat to foods. It makes anything plain interesting, (potentially) delicious and spicy. I make my own…..not to brag but any of the chili crisp that I made were all better than any jarred one that I have purchased so far…………. but I am intrigued by the mandarin orange miso flavor……That one is interesting…..The Chili pepper crunch should taste like you basic chili crunch…all chili crunch does already have garlic in it so I am guessing that maybe this variety has extra garlic and sounds like the least flavorful. Just my thoughts…I could be wrong.
DIFFERENT – Norita Sweet Sriracha Miso all purpose sauce….Never heard of a sauce like this before……?????
LIMITED TIME ONLY – Pringles Scorchin Hot Ones Los Calientes Verde. These my husband picked up. I can’t judge them because I can’t eat them….I’m sensitive to too much vinegar. For me they have so much vinegar in them that is painful to my mouth. My husband thinks that they are really good so he gets to eat the whole container himself.
Maybe NEW & a little DIFFERENT – Icelandic vanilla & strawberry lingonberry Skyr. I read that Skyr yogurt is creamier than regular yogurt and is less sour. I got a coupon from Safeway to get one free so I did. I tried the strawberry & lingonberry…..I liked the rich creamy texture. I also ;liked the less sour than regular yogurts…..But they might well just offered unflavored because there hardly was any fruit in mine….Mine had just enough fruit to pollute plain yogurt and left me disappointed. I don’t know if I got an off batch or just that flavor is lacking?
Maybe NEW and DIFFERENT – Icelandic Privisions in wild blueberry & bilberry…..I never heard of bilberry,,,,) And the other flavor is peach & cloudberry…..you sure don’t come across cloud berries very often……These sure are DIFFERENT.
Halloween is coming soon (unless the world blows up from all the marshmallows and artificial coloring in cereal these days)

Well that was the NEW, Weird, Different, Limited & Special Edition foods out there for September 2022. Who knows WTFork I’ll come across next time?
I spotted this White Chocolate Lemon Meringue Bar at my local AJ’s Fine Foods and I had to try it.
I open it up carefully. I attempted to break off one brick….That didn’t work.
These bars have lots of filling and the white chocolate is very delicate and almost soft.
I taste the broken ends. The lemony part is really great and sure does taste like really good lemon meringue filling…Like the right tart and the right sweet……the right amount of lemon……….The white chocolate is pretty good for white chocolate but it does end with a sweet finish like it should like some meringue. (I hate when meringue taste like egg whites…ick)
I think that this flavor is pretty good but they’ve forgotten that lemon meringue is a pie and should have some crumbs for crust. A few slightly salted cookie crumbs on the bottom would have balanced it all really well………But it is still pretty good anyway.

Pepto Bizmo Ice Cream?…….Anyways…….Van Leeuwen is famous for their high quality small batch rich smooth ice creams. Recently I tried the pizza ice cream and it wasn’t terrible….It was good but the Pizza flavor was hard to identify because it was a stretch to think of cream cheese and spiced tomato jam as pizza. …….Based on tasting only one weird flavor I think they might tone down the weird flavors because their normal flavors that I tried so far were delicious. I have tried something they made with hazelnut and a pistachio flavor and both of those were excellent…..
LIMITED EDITION – Van Leeuwen Espresso Fior Di Latte Chip French Ice Cream….It’s probably delicious if you are into that sort of flavor?…….

NEW – Pop-Farts……OPPS! My bad I guess I need bifocals…..Pop-Tarts has gone bananas with Banana Creme Pie that is natural and artificially flavored. I guess these will a peel to some.
LIMITED EDITION – KitKat blueberry muffin naturally and artificially flavored…….????? IDK them KitKats run around 50% one way or the other way??????
NEW – Kit Kat Thins in chocolate hazelnut..????? Could go either way……? These I might crack and try at some point?
DIFFERENT – Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Drops……….Somehow I never noticed them before????? How could that be?????…I read that Hershey’s Drips been around since 2010! Well they were at Safeway and were marked clearance $2.99 so I picked them up…..They are pretty good….a lot like real big M&M’s (button sized) without the candy shell and a little waxy but still good for some odd reason……… Too bad I didn’t pick up the other bag they had left……Oh well!
LIMITED EDITION – Driscoll’s Rose Berries Raspberries………They look yellow with a slight bit of blush to me…………….yep it’s a raspberry!

DIFFERENT and maybe NEW – Trader Joe’s cheese & truffle flavored corn snacks. These are Very GOOD and are made with real truffle.
DIFFERENT and maybe NEW – Trader Joe’s Crispy Thai Chilies & sesame seed snack……I almost bought them. Maybe next time? Hope that they are still there.
DIFFERENT – Trader Joe’s Cassava and Coconut tortilla chips. I don’t know if I would like the coconut taste with salsa?
DIFFERENT – Trader Joe’s HOT crispy habanero peppers. Sure why not?
WEIRD – Trader Joe’s House cranberry cosmo Wine cocktail in a can. …..(ick)

WEIRD – Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cinnadust seasoning blend….Great for the same people that are too lazy to crush up cinnamon toast cereal. Just be stupid and buy all the leftover crumbs from the factory.
DIFFERENT and maybe NEW – General Mills Plentiful cereals in peanut butter coated flakes with nut and seed clusters….and cinnamon almond butter coated flakes with nut and seed clusters….his same brand of cereal put out a cereal called Clusters…..They thought they’s be slick changing the name…….

NEW and maybe LIMITED EDITION – Pringles Scorching Wavy Loaded Nachos potato formed chips….Loaded nachos usually the Pringles are flavored well…but their chips are pressed potato and who knows what else.
DIFFERENT – Bumblebee Brand wild caught tuna seasoned with sriracha…….Not sure if that would be good? Would the sriracha be too strong without mayo for the tuna? But maybe it is good? I wonder?
DIFFERENT – Magnolia UBE sweet purple yam premium ice cream…..at a regular grocery store.

WEIRD – General Mills – JoJo Silva strawberry burp…..my bad..I meant bop with natural…and OTHER (sweaty toes, beaver butts, raccoon farts) natural flavors and marshmallows OH MY!
DIFFERENT and maybe WEIRD – General Mills Golden Grahams retro recipe (made with real honey) Sounds like the natural honey was dropped from the cereal years ago. Artificial flavor is more current.
NEW – General Mills Lucky Charms with marshmallow and clusters. Might be a way to sell the rejects from when the machine that makes the cereal was malfunctioning.
LIMITED EDITION – Kellogg’s Strawberry Banana Cheerios in Happy Heart shapes. Sounds good but I don’t know if it is.
WEIRD – Candy Pop Popcorn made with sour patch kids bitz………..That sound incredibly unappetizing to me…..Looks like they dipped Bart Simpson in red in the corner.
NEW – Lily’s no sugar unicorn swirl baking chips. You can’t find a real unicorn but you can sure poop a rainbow from eating unicorn swirl baking chips.
DIFFERENT – Andre Prost tweeted condensed coconut milk. Haven’t noticed condensed coconut milk before. It can make cooking easier.
DIFFERENT – Kikkoman seasoned Panko with added coconut. Sound delicious but I don’t know if it is.
DIFFERENT – Ever see a pineberry before?……. They look like schnozberries. Some taste like mild pineapple. Others taste like pineapple mixed with strawberry.
DIFFERENT – Purple Crush tomatoes – Ummmmmm?
DIFFERENT and maybe healthier? – From The Ground Up – Butternut Squash pretzel twist…….??? A while back I bought the cauliflowers pretzels and they were very bitter like rotten broccoli so I was afraid to try these butternut squash pretzels.
DIFFERENT – Who knew that Sprouts sold so many different varieties of dates. There are zahidi, honey, halawi, medjool, khadrawi, and barhi dates at Sprouts.
DIFFERENT – The Better Chips made with cauliflower and whole grains…????
DIFFERENT – Van Leeuwen ice creams in Earl Grey, marionberry cheesecake, cookies & cream, vanilla bean, honey comb, Sicilian pistachio, and black cherry chip.
More Ice Cream….no…I mean non dairy frozen dessert.
DIFFERENT and maybe NEW – Mauna Loa Macadamia milk frozen desserts in strawberry guava, moloka’l sea salt caramel, and mango liliko’l. They sound delicious don’t know?

WEIRD – Nabisco Oreo cookie pieces…..You know all the busted up pieces from manufacturing that Nabisco thoughtfully saved to sell you so you don’t have to bust up a fresh cookie for your ice cream.

LIMITED EDITION – Van Leeuwen – Kraft Macaroni & Cheese French Ice Cream…I’m not a big fan of Kraft Macaroni & Cheese so I doubt this one will do it for me but if the little blue box does it for you then please go and indulge.
Limited EDITION – Van Leeuwan Royal Wedding Cake with Elderflower & Lemon French Ice Cream. You can get the last lick of a royal wedding with this flavor of ice cream.

NEW – Capt’n Crunch’s artificially flavored Berrytastic pancake mix……..(ick and it’s scary looking too!)
NEW – Capt’n Crunch’s Ocean Blue Dish soap……OOPs! I mean artificially ocean blue maple syrup……….Gosh no wonder why there are so many whack jobs out there……
NEW – Pillsbury Funfetti pancake mix with candy bits. Now this one will make you poop a rainbow.
NEW – Betty Crocker – Drunk-are-yous…..I screwed up again I mean DunkAroos (whatever they are?) Rainbow pancake mix…Same as above and you can poop a rainbow two.
DIFFERENT – Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cinnadust pancake mix….Soneone was on some sort of dust to think this up.
DIFFERENT – Lucky Charms artificially flavored marshmallow pancake mix with cereal topping. Well if you don’t care what you eat there is more!
WEIRD – Mrs Butterworths Post Fruity Pebbles syrup……..It’s a Yabba Dabba OY VEY
WEIRD – Mrs Butterworth’s double chocolate pancake mix. This might come with fudge frosting and candy. Looks like a birthday cake from Walmart.
WEIRD – Mrs. Butterworth’s EPIC Post Fruity Pebbles Pancake Mix. This is not what sweet dreams are made of. Just add water and get a nightmare.
DIFFERENT – Lorissa’s Kitchen – Korean Barbecue Beef Jerky. Sounds tasty…might be good…or just jerky……but not Jamaican Jerky.
DIFFERENT (and expensive around $9.@) Jcoco Chocolate Bars in Crisp Quinoa Sesame, Black Fig Pistachio, and Boharat Spice. They are different!
DIFFERENT – Love Cocoa by James Cadbury…..Strawberry Champagne White Chocolate…..Every bar is a donation for one tree. Sounds great and buying a tree is wonderful.
DIFFERENT – Ikea Beloning milk chocolate with lingonberries…Sounds tasty to me!

NEW – Hostess Boost JUMBO caffeinated donettes………in (my least favorite flavor of all time) Chocolate Mocha and Caramel Macchiato……..I don’t know??? It gets weird when they add caffeine to junk food……just saying.
Not always but there usually is some sort of new or limited edition Oreo Cookie.
LIMITED EDITION – Nabisco Firework Oreo Cookies with POPPING Candy. Maybe these Oreo cookies make you fart fireworks?
Well that was the NEW, WEIRD, DIFFERENT, limited and special edition foods out there for May 2022. Who knows WTFork I’ll come across next month.
There is ALWAYS something new, weird, different, limited, and special edition out there in the wonderful world of food. We never know WTFork we will come across when we shop for food. Here are a few of the foods that I came across recently. Most of what I found this month was just different.
Up above is-
DIFFERENT – Wicked Foods brand Bac-No-Naise vegan mayo….If I invented a vegan mayo I’d name it Yeah-on-naise not bac-no-naise….Doesn’t Yeah-on sound better?
DIFFERENT – Wicked Kitchen Brand – Punchy pumpkin laksa kit…….Not familiar with Laksa but I know that laksa is a spicy noodle dish…….So why don’t they just call this spicy noodle kit (vegan)?
DIFFERENT- Wicked Kitchen Shiitake ramen broth kit (also vegan). It sounds delicious but can’t say if it is a winner or not unless I try it………

NEW – Garden of Eatin’ Wicked Hot Spicy Corn Chips……….Might be good?…Might be Wicked hot?
NEW (Sort of) – Garden of Eatin’ Red Hot Blues Corn Chips that are now tastier than what they used to make………Well at least they are honest.
NEW (Sort of) Garden of Eatin’ – Blue Corn Chips that are even tastier than what they used to sell……..
DIFFERENT – Crunchers Crunchy peanuts in hot chili lime, cheese and ranch. I bought the cheese coated peanuts……My husband didn’t like them and said, “YUK” “GROSS” and then said that they taste like peanuts that were coated in buttermilk. I didn’t even bother and they went into the trash….Maybe some people will like them?
DIFFERENT – Simple Truth Crunchy Pea Puff salad toppers in chipotle pepper and seasoned herb….They sound tasty but more like snack food to me.
DIFFERENT – Simple Truth Baked BBQ Flavored Pea Puffs……Who Knew?
DIFFERENT – Maddy & Maize Bourbon Barbecue fancy popcorn…..This I was going to try until I saw how tiny the bag was…..The bag is only 3.5 ounces…….If it’s good it will go really fast.
DIFFERENT – San Joaquin Almond nut chips that are hickory smoked flavor…..Could be good? Could also suck….????????
DIFFERENT and Possibly NEW – Cheetos HOTTEST EVER Flamin’ Hot Pepper Puffs. I like spicy but IDK……….
Limited Edition – Van Leeuwen Bourbon Cherries Jubilee French Ice Cream…….It sounds incredibly delicious and fattening as it should be………..
LIMITED EDITION – Van Leeuwen Planet Earth French Ice Cream…..???? What flavor is Planet Earth? ……..Pond Scum? …….Earth Worm?……….Moss?………Smog?

LIMITED EDITION – Peeps marshmallow chick decorating kit with edible candy decorations….Candy to decorate your candy…What an idea!
This next one I thought was fake but it is for real.
NEW & WEIRD – Boar’s Head Funfetti Birthday Ham. GREAT! Pig out on your birthday and poop out a rainbow.

I came across pineberries at my local Sprouts Store.
I never tried them before so I bought the one and only box of them they had.
It turns out that the pineberries is a cross of red European strawberries and white Spanish strawberries. They were named pineberries because they are suppose to taste like pineapple. Some taste like mild pineapple. Some taste like pineapple mixed with a little strawberry.If you like pineapple and strawberry you might like them.
